Niamh's life flipped, turned upside down, when at the beginning of the summer her parents announced that they would all be moving to Canada. I'm sorry, what? Canada? But they lived in Northern Ireland, and it was grand! Needless to say, Niamh wasn't entirely thrilled about the idea (which her brothers teased her about) until she arrived. Wisteria City wasn't so bad, and their new house was very nice, though the neighbours seemed a bit posh. She's finding her feet, however, and has started to settle into her new school. Niamh's outgoing and keen to make new friends (and try some new hobbies along the way) but she can be a little distracted at times. Schoolwork isn't her top priority unless it's a subject she really loves and studying is just so boring. Still, it's time for Niamh to make a splash and 'find her tribe' (as her ma says).

Positives// Even if Niamh can sometimes be a little self-centered or distracted, she's still someone who tries to do her best and make others happy. She'll happily try and fix any problem if it means a conflict is resolved. She's upbeat, friendly and outgoing, so she doesn't have a hard time trying to make friends. It's keeping friends that can be the tricky part. She'd definitely get along better with people who are similar to her, either through sports/hobbies or attitude in general. Leaving behind her best friends was hard, but Niamh is optimistic she can make some new ones.[break][break]
Neutrals// General classmates or peers that Niamh might see on a regular basis but doesn't go out of her way to socialise with. Other students who share a club or sport with her but might be in a different social circle or year group. She doesn't go out of her way to annoy people, so more than likely, she'll fly under the radar for a lot of people. Maybe if someone is friendly with one of her older brothers, she might know them in passing as well. Even the people she might have a fleeting crush on (she personally feels she's too young right now to really consider dating someone seriously) would fall under this title.[break][break]
Negatives// Sometimes the sunshine needs a grump. Sometimes, seeing a morning person like Niamh can be annoying -- it's true! Niamh hates conflict but that doesn't mean she can avoid it entirely. It's very possible that she'd get targeted by local kids for how she talks/ her accent or not understanding some reference they're making to something she's never heard of before (and the reverse could be true as well!). As long as the angst is planned for, it's fine for Niamh to end up in unfortunate situations. After all, it's impossible to have a rainbow without a little rain getting in the way first.[break][break]
