Still new to this campus he thought he'd pass the time with a good book. After some looking he found the library. A bright smile shines across his face as he walked along the shelves for some Gothic Fiction. But being new to this place he cant find nothing but Sci-fi. While he looked around Viktor found someone. He doesnt like asking for help, less talking to new people. But how else can he pass time without any spine tingling Gothic Fiction or Fantastique. He weighs his options. On one hand he could still look around for who knows how long, or swallow his fear and ask him/her for help. He takes a moment, take a quick deep breath and approaches this new person. He taped them on the shoulder saying "E...Excuse me?  let's try a taste.. It was Chise's turn to return the books to the library after class since she had some texts to return anyway so she was happy to do it! It gave her something to do while she didn't feel up to going home just yet. She couldn't handle it if she saw her dad home, because then it meant he lost another job. She shook her head to rid the negativity trying to clench her heart. She had to stay positive!
Chise could be found humming to herself as she was trying to reach on her very tiptoes to put a book back in its rightful spot. Why didn't she use a stool? Because she was terribly stubborn and it was a few aisles away. She was full of determination! When someone spoke she lost her concentration and immediately turned oceanic eyes to the boy who was now standing there. The book just missed the shelf and hit her on the head.
"Ah! Oh! Hi there! Dracula?" Chise crouched to pick up the book she'd dropped and offered a smile. He seemed a bit familiar but certainly no one she knew by name. He seemed nervous so she tried to stay friendly as she nodded. "I think I do actually. Let me just put this back and I'll walk you over...Uh, actually. You're tall, would you mind?"
Chise then smiled apologetically, knowing he'd asked for help only for her to ask for a teeny little favor. She admitted her defeat in being vertically challenged. ..of the blood wine ! |

[attr="class","mon"] [attr="class","monlyrics"]OH, Sorry... [attr="class","monbody"] Viktor flinched a bit as the book falls on Chise's head, almost feeling bad for her like its his fault. Though the feelings a short as she mentions that she knows where probably his all time favorite book is, only second to The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. A rare smile escaped Viktor knowing his Gothic Fiction itch will soon be scratched. "Oh! thanks for your help, ill follow..."Before he finished his sentence he takes Chise's request into mind. He was thinking it over not realizing what the question was at first. 'what does being tall have to do with this?' He thought. He looked between Chise and the shelves before he realized how dense he truly is "Hm? Oh of course, my bad" He says as he took the book from her hand as he flash her a smile, as his fake fang peak out a bit from his mouth before he turned from her and put the book on the shelf or at least where he believe the book went. After placing the book he looks back at her and asks "Is this where the book goes?" let's try a taste.. Her eyes widened in awe as he smiled. Not only was he a good looking boy but he. Had. Fangs! Her smile brightened as she did a small bounce on her feet. "Oh, my gosh are those fangs?!" She clearly thought they were real, that he'd filed his teeth for real. As he took the book from her she blinked, coming back to the task at hand and she nodded. "Yes! Thanks a lot! Right! Dracula! This way."
She didn't waste a beat as she exited the aisle and she took a moment looking left...right...left..."Ah, I think they moved it this way!" It wasn't the biggest genre so she remembered that they shifted some of the aisle around to accommodate the more popular topics. After a few moments of searching...and back tracking her eyes lit up as she pointed to the title. "And here we are!"
She would beam up at him, arms behind her back as she stepped out of the way. "Do you like only Dracula type vampires or do you like others like Carpathians and VtM style as well?" ..of the blood wine ! |

As Viktor followed her, they arrived at the kind of stories he calls true literature. He reached out for the book with the title he was waiting to see "Dracula. By: Bram Stoker". He held it close to his chest. He thinks a minute at the question posed to him "Hm, its hard for me to choose. On one hand the vampires in Dracula are where they first started to gain popularity, but on the hand i do like how they are represented in Vampire the Masquerade. let's try a taste.. Chise watches as he finds the title on the shelf and holds it close, finding it endearing. She loved all things supernatural and paranormal and seeing someone just as excited made her bounce on her feet. Her eyes lit up as he listed good points on both genres that she clasped her hands together. "Oh! So you are familiar with The Masquerade!" It was evident this existed her because she hardly knew anyone that did...make that no one else.
Chise nodded eagerly as her demeanor shifted to one of pure excitement. "I agree! I loved seeing the different factions and how they operated. It was so fascinating I have nearly every book. Oh! Which clan do you think you'd enjoy? I think I'd like to be a Daughter of Cacophony. They're mysterious and beautiful with a touch of Malkavian!" Oh, was she talking too much? She paused to give him a chance to even reply.
Of COURSE she gushed as he showed off his fangs again. Even if they were fake, proven as he took one off she was still ogling over it as she nods and smiles. "That's so cool! You look really good with fangs. They really suit you. Especially with the contacts. You look like a real vampire, but alive!" Naturally she could at least point out contacts, his were so vivid they were too pretty to be real. ..of the blood wine ! |

Its not every day Viktor found someone who shares his interest, so sadly he doesn't get much of a chance to talk about vampiric fiction. Though thats just what everyone wants to make you think, that vampirism is fiction. He closed his eyes and shook his head getting his mind back into the correct train of thought. The clans of the Masquerade. Weighed his options and he thought he constructed a good answer "I am at a tie between the Nosferatu and the Toreador. With the Nosferatu being almost the outcasts of the clans, I can relate to that. And the Toreador, vampires that will socialize with the mortals is so fascinating to me and honestly gives me hope ill find one someday" He smiled with pride of his opinions of the Masquerade He almost started to blush never having anyone seem like they are gushing at his lenses or fangs. Even being called looking similar to a real Vampire makes him beam with joy with a big goofy smile across his face his blushing now more visible. "Oh... um..." he stumbled to form words 'just say thank you Viktor, Thank... You... Just like that' he thought as he proceeded to cover his face with the book "T....thanks" was all he was able to get out not used to compliments

let's try a taste.. Chise would wait patiently as he seemed deep in thought about his reply making her even more excited on what that answer would be. There were so many to choose from that even she would flip flop between clans! When he finally gave his reply she smiled and chuckled. "Now those are two very opposite clans: One really ugly and one really beautiful. I do like the Toreadors though I imagine they'd be intimidating in real life being so lovely."
Imagine if they did exist! The idea excited Chise to think about there being vampires and no one would even notice! Perhaps she was letting her imagination get the better of her and she shook her head before her eyes turned back to him, noting his demeanor. Her expression softened as he seemed to struggle with his appreciation of her compliments. It wasn't because he was arrogant, but she could sense it wasn't something he was accustomed to. Holding out her left hand she offered him a bright smile. "My name is Chise and I'm deciding we're now friends."
It would seem she'd give no leeway on this as it was apparent that this boy was someone she wanted to get to know having similar tastes that she wanted to know what else he had to share! It was in her nature do befriend anyone who seemed like a friend was exactly what they needed, a sixth sense if you will. ..of the blood wine ! |

'Someone actually likes the things i like?' He found it all quite surreal, someone actually liked the things he liked. He still tried to hid his blush behind the book as he processes everything thats happened to him on a simple trip to the library He then came back to reality after he seen her extend her hand to him. At first he was confused 'Wha? does she want to hold hands???' he thought for a minute before he shakes his head knowing its ridiculous since they just met. His thoughts were more confirmed when he heard Chise say the word "Friends" Those are far and few for Viktor. let's try a taste.. It was refreshing meeting new people. Chise never missed the opportunity to not only help people but when she felt there was some bond and with Viktor she felt that he was in need of some. Not that she doubted he didn't have any but with his shy, almost aloof demeanor she was wanting to see what all there was to this guy than met the eye.
As he took her hand and they shook her smile only widened and if she had a tail it would certainly be wagging as the brunette wanted to know more! "Pleased to meet you! I hope we become good friends! Ah, if you like these genres are you perhaps a fan of horror and paranormal? I'm in the Paranormal Activities Club and I'm hoping to try finding a haunted place to maybe explore at some point this year!"
She could gush for hours when it came to babbling about her hobbies in the hopes that perhaps it would help the other person open up, give them a chance to share their own likes and dislikes, start a debate or anything really. It was apparent that she was all too happy to see what Viktor liked based off of what little she knew. ..of the blood wine ! |

He was excited since he was in that club. "Oh yeah, I'm part of the club too. I'm hoping my knowledge of Vampiric lore and other paranormal lore and folk stories will land me the spot of Vice President, even though I'm a Sophomore" He said as he chuckled "But agree, I'd love to find a haunted location. let's try a taste.. Her eyes lit up as he mentioned being in the same club and she gasped, rising on her tiptoes in her excitement. "Really?!" That garnered attention with how loud she was and with an apologetic smile to the librarian poking their head she lowered her voice. "Oh! I think you'd make a great Vice President!" Her enthusiasm knew no bounds as she tapped her chin. "I was thinking of trying to find an abandoned school. Maybe we could ask the faculty to ask the authorities for permission. A project!"
It was clear she's thought this through as she watched anything paranormal online, TV or on social media. Ghosts were so fascinating though she wouldn't admit she'd run in first...if someone held her hand. It was an interesting mix to be scared easily but wanting to experience it all the same.
When she leaned over to see what he pulled out of his pocket she had to muffle her squee. "R-really?! Can I?!" Her oceanic gaze met his garnet hues to verify permission before she'd take the case and wriggle herself as she looked at them. "Oh this is so cool! I can't wait to try! Will you show me?" ..of the blood wine ! |

He was happy he found someone who loved the things he did. Plus he knew that if he wanted to get more, he could always order another packet of fangs just in case something happened to his current pair. He'd rather be prepared since he doesn't want to be seen without the fangs or lenses At her request Viktor's eyes lit up been able to teach someone how to wear a pair of fangs "Oh, yeah of course i can show you" he said quickly taking off his fangs and showed her. "You just need to lift up your upper lip and slide them onto you canine teeth, like this" he said as he did just as he described. let's try a taste.. Chise was delighted as he seemed happy to show her. She'd never thought to try using fake fangs before and now she was super excited as she tried not to bounce too much. She watched as he took off one of his fangs and she opened the pack to grab one and studied how he lifted his upper lip to give room to her canine and after a few tries she mimics his actions.
It took a couple of moments but Chose would manage to get the fang on her tooth and she then tried the other one so that it would look better. "Like this? Does it look weird?" She would ask as she made a hissing sound herself, even making finger motions stereotypical of vampires. It was clear she wasn't at all making fun of vampires, just that her excitement made her act a bit silly and she wasn't very good at posing with things she hadn't practiced before. ..of the blood wine ! |
