The day, as usual, started off pretty well if he did say so himself. Waking up ten minutes before class. Barely making it too class. Barely looking presentable and barely escaping the one eleven o'clock closet stuffing's. Catching up with Caleb and having a relaxing time in his favorite little nook and now, safely made it to his next favorite place to be, the Theater. Really, the day couldn't be more better! He went an entire day without being on the receiving end of a single beating or cornering. The day school day had even ended with no homework, a win-win to the Junior. Now, he as just killing as he couldn't quite decide what he wanted to do today. He should get back to his dorm and change out of his uniform, but that would mean having to tip-toe through camps but himself and that was a hard pass right now. So instead, as stated, he retired to the Theater to wait it out until campus cleared out a bit more before going back to the dorms. He promptly stuffed his ungodly bright and obnoxious bag near the fly system on top of the stage weights. To amuse himself, he had found a lowered stage baton that was to be used to hang a few props later on. But seeing as it wasn't used and only eight feet off the ground - he made it his home. How he managed to get there was anyone's guess but it wasn't done safely. Sitting on it, he claimed it as his new home. He even gave it a bit of a swing test. He was half way hidden behind the curtain's and thus out of view in the low lite theater. Be a perfect time to take a nap or even have a snack. @tagged |

Sebastian loved the theatre. Problem was you couldn't do anything in it really without other people. If you wrote a play that was incredibly good, without actores to read it or perform it, no one could see it or experience it. Without anyone to turn on the light for people to see what was going on onstage, you couldn't see a thing. You could write a book, but people needed to read it. You needed people to light and perform a play. So when Sebastian entered the augidtorium of the theatre, he was a little bit depressed at seeing no action at all. It wasn't dark, it was dim. "Hello!" Sebastian liked to yell in the completely empty auditorium. The acoustics always produced an echo. He loved that echo. it wasn't conceit of hearing his own voice. It was just the idea that there could be another person in the theatre. All you needed was one person in the autitoium. Obviously, it would be better to have a full house, but just one person was enough for the magic of theatre to be experienced. Or so Sebastian felt. Okay, thought Sebastian, this silence is deafening. Let's make a joyful noise. And he started singing as he walked down the aisle to the stage. "Join us........ Leave your fields to flower

Now, this was nice. Sitting in a silent theater was utterly relaxing for Makoa. He just kicked back on the baton and leaned back on the chain. Letting it sway back and forth just a few inches. The chains creaked but for a moment. Leaving him to debate on taking a nap up here, though thay wasn't fully a safe idea. But, when was he ever really safe? Cyrus yawned and closed his eyes as he let his legs dangle. Right when he really did consider a nap in full did he hear a Hello. Now, by theater protocol one was supposed to answer with their location for safety reasons. Such as lower or upper stage, fly, or watch your heads for being in the catwalk. But, seeing as the stage was empty with no work ahead, Cyrus chose not to answer. He had a better idea as he watched the other student make his way down the isle, singing at that. It made him smirk with amusement. Kids voice wasn't bad but he sure a brave soul. Cyrus would wait until Sebastian was on stage, preferably with the boy in front of him, before making his presence know. Rotating on the baton, Cyrus wrapped his legs around the pole and let himself hang upside down. Luckily, the school uniform vest kept his shirt from falling past his eyes. With a cheery smile, the boy reached out and tapped Sebastian on top of the head with a finger. "Nice voice." He offered praise, his voice bouncing off the walls of the empty theater. |

Not happy with just singing as he went to the stage, Sebastian started dancing as well. He remembered a few steps from another number he learned and did those. He kept singing and dancing, feeling really good actually. This song always made him feel better in an empty theatre. He reached the stage and went up the stairs on the side. He faced the dim auditorium, imagining that it was a full house and every eye was on him. That was awesome. To be n stage singing and dancing and knowing you were the one they were looking at. Well, ok,ay, for Sebastian, it was really always him and many other people. But he was one of them. As he was going toward the wings, something touched him. He jumped in the darkened place, unexpecting anytiing like that to happen. "Aaaagggghhhh!" He cried out. And then he heard a voice. It wss Cyrus, hanging upside down on something. "You Krupping jerk! How long have you been here? I should pull you down." Cyrus looked to Sebastian to be pretty athletic he could probably flip right over and land on the stage on his feet. Bastard! He joked around a lot, but he was very talented. He wondered about attacking the kid when he did come down on the stage, especially if they were alone. At being called such a colorful jerk had Cyrus smiling. Such a bold and bright small that soon led to a small chuckle as he remained in place. Poor Sebastian looked like he wanted to yank him down and kick him straight in the kidney. Really, Cyrus couldn't say he didn't deserve after scaring him, but, what was a little harmless fun in a theater. He gave himself a little swing, moving back and forth slowly. Moving a little to close and then a little too far from the other. "Oh, I've been here for quite sometime. Almost took a nap until you came in to perform for me." He did a little golf clap. "A very good one mind you. But, you can't be too angry at me. You didn't announce yourself very well." Little bit of a lie there but again, it was all in good fun. Cyrus then gave an up and opened hand shrug. "You can try to pull me down if you like. Could be fun, or you could just move slightly to the right and I'll hop down." or he could just swing right back up and stay on the baton. |

Sebastian planned on attacking him as soon as Cyrus got to the floor, but he wanted to play with him a little. He couldn't decide on whether he just wanted to get himinto a headlock or trip him onto the floor and then pin him. He would definitely have a lot of fun with the boy sitting on his chest as he lay on the floor. But he imagined Cyrus would get the better of him. Either way, it would be fun. "First, sing your favorite opening tune from a musical." He challenged the other boy. Because he mentioned "a joyful noise" from the musical Assassins by Stephen Sondheim, he had the song "Comedy Tonight" from A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum in his head. Cyrus remained hanging on the baton, his eyes shifting one way and then the other as he thought about this. His favorite opening? Well, there were a lot of plays he was familiar with and a few he liked - and a lot he hated. A hand came up to came up to ruffle his upside down multicolored locks. "All right." He said after some thought. He could have just dropped down from the baton but decided to stay on it. But he did shift his legs to allow him to hold to baton that held his legs. "Let's see..." He figured out the song that would work for the situation, a song called Beautiful from the Heathers. However, he merely sang the parts of Veronica and chose to ignore the other parts of the song. "Then we got bigger, that was the trigger. Like the Huns invading Rome. Ugh! Oh! Sorry. Welcome to my high school. This ain't no high school...This is the Thunder Dome. But he was annoyed that Cyrus didn't sing all of Veronica's part in it. "Not to mention a few other parts you forgot. But yeah, that's good. And incredibly apropos, don't you think?"Because he wanted the boy to come down and because he paid his dues, Sebastian moved back a little to allow him space to come down. Besides, he really wnted to attack him for scaring the smeg out of him. Sebastian thought of attacking him from behind. Pinning him on the stage and maybe just hitting his forehead repeatedly with his finger until he went crazy. Cyrus was a good kid and Sebastian liked him a lot. "Didn't forget, I omitted it." He pointed out and once Sebastian was out of the way, the student dropped down from his baton and landed on the ground easily. He had been quite used to climbing and dropping down from high points on the daily. He stood, brushed back his hair with hands and fix his clothing. He might be a mess but he didn't need to look like one too. "But, it is a good play regardless of its themes in some of it." Right, now that he was down on the ground, he wondered over to the fly weights to retrieve his bag. "Anyways, sorry for spooking you but it was too good to pass up." |

As soon as Cyrus walked a few paces in front of him, he ran up to him and attacked him. He wanted to get him down onto the stage. Then he would pin him and just look down on him, trying to figure out what he would do next. He thought of it as just rough housing, not actual fighting. But this was the first time he did this to Cyrus. Would he think it was a fight or just fooling around? He wasn't sure, but he did think Cyrus was stronger than he was. He was always interested in what his opponent would do to him. Would they hurt him? Would they just put him in a hold and keep him there for a while and then let him go? Would they hit him? Sebastian definitely got hurt the times he attacked other kids. And those were his friends who were used to his attacks. Too used to them that they found him awfully predictable. Cyrus Makoa |

Unfortunately, Cyrus was not one of those friends who was used to being attacked or simply tackled to the ground. Being tackled to him was not something he considered to be playful, all things considered in his daily life. Being tackled as a sign of aggression. Furthermore, being tackled on a stage floor was anything but good. The floor had some bounce but overall it was harder then any school floor. When he hit the ground with a painful thud, he let out a hiss of pain as his elbows took most of the brunt from bracing himself. He hadn't thought he needed to watch his back with this kid - clearly he thought wrong. "What the actual fuck?" He exclaimed, as he turned over and was giving Sebastian the dirties of looks even while being pinned. "Why in the seven hells are you doing? If you wanted a ride you just had to ask and not be an asshole about it." He quipped back with a very displeased face even if his words came off flirty. Cyrus was clearly annoyed, he supposed that scaring this kid in the future was now off the tables if he was going to get this kind of reaction. "Get off." It was the one and only warning Sebastian was going to get and Cyrus wasn't playing. |

Sebastian wasn't used to being on top. If he attacked someone, that guy usually had him on his back and was staring down at him. There were a myriad of things Sebastian could do to Cyrus, if he wanted. Cyrus arguably was defensive and vulnerable. Sebastian was sitting on his chest, with his knees pinning Cyrus' arms. People in Sebastian's position could beat Cyrus up very badly. Sebastian could punch Cyrus anywhere from his waist up. Someone jumped Sebastian and pinned him and Sebastian was terrified of what he would do to him, until the guy absolutely shocked him by getting up and running away. Or Cyrus could just roll over and get up with Sebastian still sitting on him and probably beat Sebastian up when he got to his feet. Sebastian wasn't counting on the intellectual approach, probably because he wasn't an intellectual. He obviously blew it today. Sebastian was crestfallen at his obvious blunder. He really liked Cyrus. They both liked two things that were important to Sebastian: art and theatre. They were both incredibly talented entertainers and drawers. Sebastian really wanted to be Cyrus' friend and now, that was probably never would happen. "Sorry." Sebastian said, obviously totally dejected. And he got up, off of the other boy. He reached his hand out to see if Cyrus took so he could help Cyrus up. If he did, there was a chance they could be friends. If he didn't, Sebastian would know that Cyrus would need some time to get over this stupid attack. And of course, he would give it to him. The whole time he laid there pinned to the ground he was sending Sebastians a sharp glare. While he couldn't do much in thjs position, he could certainly flip the kid off of him if he didn't move. He was smaller and lighter then Cyrus and so it would be rather easy to toss him. But, he didnt, he waited to see what this idiot was going to do. It appeared the two were at an impass. Cyrus waiting to see what would happen and Sebastian seemingly content or waiting for something too? Finally, Cyrus broke the silence with his sassy attitude. "If your waiting for me to kiss you, it's not happening." Then, the kid moved off him. Cyrus rolled his eyes and did not accept the others help. He picked himself up and went to his bag, snatching it off the weights. He caught the sorry but wasn't sure what to do with the apology. Normal people didn't randomly jump people unless they had bad intentions. Cyrus rolled his head back and groaned. "Whatever, just don't do that shit again. Next time you might tackle the wrong person and get your teeth knocked out." like say, tackling Johnny or his friends. There were plenty of people who would swing without a thought. Sebastian was truly a weird ass kid. Cyrus turned around and leaned against thr weights. Why Sebastian looked so dejected was beyond him. "So, what was that about?" |

A kiss? What? Sebastian was confused. But he realized he should get off the guy or else, so he did. He was really saddened when Cyrus didn't allow him to help him up, but he wasn't surprised. He really Krupped up today. Cyrus asked a question and he didn't know how to respond to it. He was really embarrassed by what he did. Perhaps he should've just asked if he wanted to wrestle? Nah. But why would he mention a kiss? It was joke. Oh. Okay. Weird joke though. Still looking dejected, he said: "I guess I just wanted to get you back for scaring me. I'm sorry. It was stupid."How to make friends and influence people, buddy! He thought to himself. Sebastian needed to make friends, not enemies. But he was only kidding. He didn't mean anything by it. He totally expected Cyrus to beat him up a little to make it even. But he didn't. Smart guy, obviously. Well, Sebastian will try to keep out of his way in the future.
