She retorted without so much as looking back, silencing his pointless argument of her being 'little'. There was irony in him speaking of disguises when her cloak was entirely that. She hadn't thought of little red riding hood, but it felt befitting now since it was a fairytale that always caught her interest...although she had rewritten it to be her own story. The memory was so old it was surprising that it had come up at all. She glanced back to Brendon as they walked, and she thought about how as a little girl she had stolen a book from the library, and doodled all over it...making her own happier wolf story. As he followed her through the crowd, he huffed quietly, half in disbelief. “I’ve seen you at least my height before—maybe even shorter.” His gaze shifted downward to her high-heeled shoes.
He’d noticed it before, the difference subtle and something he hadn’t put too much thought into. But, now that she was making a point of it, he realized it she was doing it on purpose. She was ensuring that she stood at a taller height than him!

Silently, she pressed into her shoes, shifting to slip them out from beneath her dress. She grinned, still at her full height, balanced on the balls of her feet. OAKWOOD HALL [attr="class","brenpost"]Josuette cast him a brief glance but otherwise stayed silent as she led him to a secluded corner of the Hall, mostly out of sight from others. Brendon watched as she slipped out of her heels, one by one, but purposely remained standing a slightly above his eye level, as if to make her point.
But, Brendon was caught off guard when she reached for his mask, lifting it to reveal his hidden face beneath. A wave of warmth bloomed across him, his heart beating faster as, … f-for some reason, he grew flustered with the sudden thought of her trying to kiss him.
Slowly, she lowered down until they stood equal in height, but her next words sent heat straight to his cheeks: “Undress me.”
“Wh-What a thing to say!” He blurted, flustered and red-faced. “Somehow… this doesn’t feel private enough!”

She hadn't seen him in so long. His eye color was obscured by the lighting but she could feel the heat of his cheeks when she removed his mask. Brendon fumbled with his words, and she felt the urge to draw him in close, that holding him would quell his rattled nerves. Her eyes softened and she knew...her words were inappropriate not for a 'friend'. A soft sigh left her lips as she reached upwards to unfasten the bow herself. Beneath revealed a intricate gold, green and white dress. Finally she drew down her hood, a white translucent veil with tiara covering her carefully woven blonde hair. She dropped the cloak down onto the floor beside them, her phone bundled within its fabric.

OAKWOOD HALL [attr="class","brenpost"]While he fumbled with his embarrassment, Josuette w-wouldn’t wait two seconds! Impatient, she immediately began undressing herself, untying the red bow and slipping the cloak from her shoulders.
Brendon’s heart jolted—and then leapt into his throat as she revealed her costume underneath. She was dressed as a bride, with a white veil cascading from a crown made of emerald jewels. Her shoulders and chest were bare, the bodice of her Victorian wedding gown dipping low to a-accentuate her chest.
His heart raced, th-thundered, and in a panic, he scooped up the discarded red cloak to cover h-how much she was revealing!
With his face as red as a ruby, he managed to stammer out, “Y-You can’t… that’s…!” But he couldn’t even form a sentence.

Taking his hand within hers, she began to lead him from the oakwood hall. However, they were stopped by a teacher. "Sorry we can't let anyone out right now, you'll have to come back later." He told them, before stepping to the side to stop another couple from leaving, repeating the same words. OAKWOOD HALL [attr="class","brenpost"]Josuette placed her hand against the heat of his cheek. “…All right.” Wh-Which only made Brendon’s face hotter, the tension within him pulling tighter. H-He didn’t understand why she always had to make him feel so embarrassed!
This was definitely the most embarrassed he’d felt in his life.
She took his hand, leading him along the edge of the Hall, away from the crowd and toward the exit doors. When they reached them, a staff member nearly stopped them, but Josuette slipped them out unnoticed as the staff got distracted by other nearby students.
Byt where could they go? The night was dark and chilly, and the secluded area by the lake would be too cold and too dark this late. And neither of them had a private dorm room.
“There’s no privacy…,” He sighed, casting a frustrated glance around. But as his gaze drifted to the darkened windows of the educational buildings, his nerves fluttered with a new idea. “Maybe we can get into one of the classrooms…” He suggested, looking back to her.
He just wanted somewhere private and quiet—with no one else around!—so she could share her costume with him, and they could finally enjoy some time alone.

Looking to Brendon briefly, she pulled him forward, leading him inside, her pace brisk...excited. When they arrived she paused to draw Brendon's mask down, covering his identity. Within the classroom resided François-Xavier Marcotte collecting his belongings to depart. « Monsieur Marcotte, je m'excuse de l'intrusion, mais... j'espérais pouvoir utiliser votre salle de classe pour me reposer après l'événement. » She felt tense, Brendon out within the hall, their hands still interlinked. But she held respect for the man, and he had often allowed her to stay within his classroom alone. He greeted her warmly as always, his French far more fluent than hers. But he agreed without hesitation.
