With locks of champagne blond dyed into a delicate pink lace, it feels as if you are rubbing silk between your forefinger and thumb. It cascades around her hips, with the last few inches veering into loose curls. It was once a too-dark brown, as her aunt did not like hair that was the same color as her mother's.

With round, wide eyes set on a round face that would deceive others with the notion of innocence, they are a light gray. However, describing them as stormy would be incorrect. Bright, clear, and even sparkling is a much better description.

She has never been tall, nor even average. Standing, she is only five feet and a single inch tall. If she stretched her neck, she might be able to reach five feet with an inch and three quarters.

This maiden's chest is average instead of below average, and she does have a bit of curves, creating an hourglass figure. These features are paired with fair skin, with not even a single freckle to be spotted, though on the back of her right shoulder appears to be a dense shape of light freckles, which is nothing more than a birthmark. It is slightly covered by the burn scar along the length of her back.

Of course, figure skating is one of, no, the most favorite activities that she loves spending time performing. If you look in her room, a glass jar sits upon her desk, filled with paper stars. In fact, there are many of these glass jars that she keeps underneath her desk. Each of them contains a few hidden knickknacks along with a small piece of paper with
a wish written on it. 

Someone might also spot Verity with her hair in a messy bun, a bunny apron around her waist, and her hands covered in flour. No one ever said she was a neat baker, but she loves partake in the pastime. After all, she has a huge sweet tooth, and sometimes store-bought confections just don’t hit the spot the way something homemade does

Verity is enjoys, and is quite talent in the art of figure skating. She prefers to skate in a pair, however will skate alone if she does not have a partner.

Miss Valendeer finds herself too busy for any after school clubs between working and her figure skating.

When someone spoke of the name Valendeer, Verity would not be the first one to come to mind. In fact, she was not even the second. Her twin cousins sat upon the throne in the school's hierarchy. Not many could, or would, see past the dazzling seat to locate the fiction that created it. Rather, it is even a truth the twins dare not face. The two would rather cover their eyes and ears.

And while Verity's aunt and uncle loved their children very much and showered them with anything they asked for, the same could not be said for their niece. A father whose eyes would linger on her far longer than what is appropriate. And a mother who was jealous of her own child, to the point of inflicting pain upon said child.

Verity would bitterly spit to herself with a southern twang, "only if my parents hadn't gone and died on me," only for her heart to be stung with pain and guilt. She never did mean it. After all, it's not like the couple decided for their home to catch flames. Nor could they imagine the everlasting scars that would be imprinted upon their daughter. One on her heart, the other a large burn forever present on the skin of her back.

Medication
When weather is on the cooler side, or in the ice-rink, it causes the dull, forgettable pain to shift into a sheering pain. This is thanks the the nerve damage caused by the fire. Most days she is able to get by on generic pain medication. However, she does have an orange bottle of the doctor prescribed pain relief also. Which she tends to carry in person during winter time.
