Dottie is a very typical teenage girl... If that teenage girl grew up in a rural, countryside town with little other kids around her age. So as one could imagine, she's great at coming up with ways to keep herself entertained so she doesn't go mad with boredom! Back home, Dottie could be found tromping around in the woods, swimming at the lake, fishing off a dock, or basically anything fun that isn't chores or homework. So really, she just acts like a typical kid with a constant grin on her face.

But that was back home.

On campus, Dottie still has her energy with her, even when it's a little misplaced. Not used to being around this many other kids at once, Dottie is still trying to figure out the best way to make herself known, make friends, and not get into too much trouble. She'll happily waltz up to anyone who looks interesting to strike up a conversation with them about any old thing. Shyness isn't exactly a "thing" in her book, though she does find herself a tad intimidated by the older (and cooler) upper classmen. And while she never used to be a homebody, it's rare to find Dottie off campus on her own, n-not because she's scared or anything! Haha, it's just no fun being all by herself alright?

• Has several collections, including: photos, rocks and gems, seashells, baseball cards, comic books, bottle caps, and more!
• Her favorite animals are dogs (beagles) and deer.
• Absolute slacker, but is trying way harder now.

All Dottie had ever known was her hometown, and her story started like any other. Markus Wells and Serena Keyes were high school sweethearts who married shortly after graduation. And it wasn't long before Dottie was born, and for a while after that, things were going pretty okay.

Until one day, when Dottie was about eight years old, Markus and Serena took a trip to the city... And never came back. Her parent's funereal is one of those days forever sealed into Dottie's memories, with her whole world crashing in around her. Life was a bit of a blur after that, moving into Grannie Wells' house and having to keep living like everything was normal. But nothing felt normal ever again after that. It wasn't until her following birthday that Grannie surprised her with a little pick me-up, a little beagle puppy that quickly became Dottie's closest companion.

The years have passed, and Dottie got older. And then suddenly, an offer came through that Grannie Wells was eager to cash in on. Grannie Wells wanted what was best for Dottie, even if it meant signing her up for high school abroad to get a better education. And while she didn't voice it, Grannie was getting older herself, and wouldn't be around forever to support her beloved granddaughter. It was a scary thing for Dottie to leave home for the first time ever in her whole life. Her whole world was in this little slice of the country, with her grandma and her pup.

But she couldn't disappoint her Grannie. She couldn't just stay sheltered forever. And Dottie Wells was no quitter- She'd whine and complain maybe, but not quit! So Dottie had to pack her bags, say farewell and hit the road... To Panacea Academy!
