︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶『 Kseniyev Kushnir ˋ°•*⁀➷ @anyone! 』 G od , how Kseniyev hated English class . Some of it had to do with the fact that she was an ESL student , but most of it was that she was failing . They were doing a unit about poems , who the fuck writes poems anyway ???? Does she look like a nerd to you ?! The school had contacted her father about her grades , and Kseniyev got lectured by him , the gist of it being ' it's important that you pay attention in class . ' Why would she pay attention to something so boring ? She made the excuse that she had a shitty teacher , and , of course , he believed , in his words , " его маленький лучик солнца " -- his little ray of sunshine . If only he knew she was the exact opposite of that in school ..
( note : i am not Russian . But that is what i intended on the translation being . )
So , she decided that she wasn't going at all . Fuck that class ! They wouldn't miss her anyway , she barely participated in the class . And when she did participate , they usually got answer a " don't ask me " or " how am I supposed to know that ?! " She provides nothing to them . They won't notice .
She tiptoed in the halls , approaching the entrance of the school . She was so close , so close to leaving . To a passerby , it definitely looked like she was trying to leave early , too . There was no mistake in that . To those that knew her , this wasn't an uncommon occurance . She often skipped class when she didn't like the upcoming lesson , needed to do something , or when she was simply bored . In their words , she was a typical delinquent . She didn't care about rules , about being a good scholar . EDUARD A. WINKLER Panacea academy, british columbia, canadA It was another regular day for Eduard Addison Winkler. He woke up entirely too early to come to a school to clean up after bored rich kids with too much money in their pockets. Kids that were prone to getting rid of their boredom by absolutely trashing the men’s room in the main building. Well that was what the report that one of the newer teacher’s whose name he’d yet to learn had told him. He had mentioned that every single roll of toilet paper had been pulled completely out and strewn across the bathroom, a toilet completely clogged, and some sinks had been left running, with tissues stuffed in the drain.
Who raised their kids this way, anyway?
The same ones that sent them off to some snobby boarding school in small town Canada.
This wasn’t even a good prank. It just left his cleaning crew working way harder than they needed to. He certainly wasn’t amused. In fact he was feeling the exact opposite. Eduard really really had half a mind to smack some stupid kids!!
Hopefully they were in their classes now, so he could quietly clean up the stinking mess with no fanfare. He certainly didn’t want some juvenile delinquents watching him sweep up their work of “modern art”. Or their prank. Or whatever they wanted to call it. He just wanted to call it “stupid”.
Eduard could feel himself becoming more and more peeved as he pushed his huge bright yellow trash bin/dirty mop water combo (on wheels) at increasingly faster speeds down the hallway towards his destination.
In fact, he had picked up quite the brisk walk when he rounded the corner into the main hallway just a bit too quickly. So quickly in fact, that he wasn’t able to stop himself from crashing directly into a young girl, sending the contents of his mop bucket splashing directly onto her.
Ah hell…
Wait. What was a student doing wandering the halls at this hour? Didn’t she have class?!
“HEY?! Kid, what on earth are you doing out here!?” This was all his fault, and he knew it, but it wasn’t like Eduard was known for being the most appropriate person in the world, nor was he known to be best at saying the right thing. This would have to do for now, “Don’t you have class…?”
He sighed heavily as he moved around his cart to help the poor student out.

T en more steps . Just ten more , and she'll be out of here . She won't have to go to class , learn material she wasn't gonna use in real life anyway , and most importantly , she wouldn't have to write a dumbass poem ! She was so close to leaving ..
But , of course , nothing in life goes as smooth as we want it to .
She thought the coast was clear , so she kept walking by , so engrossed in the task that she didn't hear the wheels of a cart rolling in her direction . All that mattered was that she got out of this damn school ! It was only when she felt a swift breeze , that she looked back , seeing the bright yellow cart , but at that point , it was too late .
A splash of dirty , soapy water made contact with her , causing to get her clothes all wet , and slightly stinky . Not only that , but the collision had caused her to trip , her weight falling on an ankle that definitely wasn't supposed to bend like that .
Looking up at what caused the accident with fire in her eyes , she got up , struggling to get her balance . She really , really wanted to attack him , but this made her realize she now had the perfect excuse to leave .
❝︎ Well , now I have to CHANGE MY FUCKING CLOTHES !! ❞︎ Kseniyev shouted angrily at the janitor . She thought he was a blind piece of shit . ❝︎ Isn't it your fucking job to watch where you're going with that thing ?! ❞︎ She wasn't even trying to conceal her curses . How could she ? Her ankle was stinging , and she was covered in this mysterious liquid .
As she turned to leave , she kept limping , trying to walk normally . She tried to hide it , but the look on her face made it obvious that she was in pain . She nearly slipped again on the spill , holding onto a nearby locker for support . Eduard almost snorted, but he was a good boy and held it in. His mother would’ve been quite proud of him for not laughing at a teenager he literally knocked over and got covered in nasty mop water! He also made sure to not tell her that, ‘Well yeah, you’d definitely have to change your clothes, that mop water was preeeetttyyy nasty.’ It was best to just avoid that trouble for now. He was on a roll.

At this point he truly did snort.
No, weird girl. No, his job was cleaning the damn school. If he ran over a few children here and there well, maybe it wouldn’t have been a good look, but he would not have been slacking on his duties as a high school custodian.
But it was in Eduard’s smugness that he missed something. Pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose (his vision was atrocious), he noticed that she was struggling to walk. Then, he took a step backward as she nearly fell again.
‘Eduard, were you just going to let the girl FALL?’ He heard the voice ringing in his head, ‘AGAIN?’ Damn he hated having a conscience sometimes. It was clear that he’d been the cause of an injury of some kind and here he was, trying to let her fall down again. Ugggggghhh!
“Kid- ugh… hey. Lemme help you. You need to get your weight off of that ankle right away and let me take a look.” He moved towards her again, slowly this time, almost afraid she would run away from him if he moved too quickly, “I don’t care what you have to say, and don’t worry, we aren’t going to go back to the class you were trying to skip. Just hold onto my arm and we will go to the bench over there.”
He knew she wasn't going to want to accept his help. He was just a stupid janitor. It was obvious she had some kind of issue with authority. Not that he was an authority of any kind in the school. He really did not want to have to resort to forcing her to listen. |

F uck , her ankle was killing her . She's been injured multiple times before , she should be able to get through this . It was nothing to her . She shouldn't be limping , she shouldn't be in pain , she shouldn't show that type of weakness . She hated it , even more than she hated being covered in dirty water . She could've sworn she saw a dead roach from it land on her , too . It was disgusting ... maybe she should be writing poems instead of being in this situation .. no ! This was all his fucking fault !
Thankfully , she didn't hear him practically laughing at her . That's throwing hands material for her . Even if it was an old janitor that could easily subdue a teenage girl . When Kseniyev was angry , nothing's off limits .
Her hands were shaky , struggling to stabilize herself . Seeing the janitor take a step towards her , she immediately leaned back . There was no way in hell she was gonna let him touch her after what he did ! What did he know about injuries , anyway ? He was just some crusty janitor !

Wow, this one sure had an attitude on her. Probably thought that because he was older that he couldn’t possibly understand the struggles and whatever of a teenager. One who was probably born to super rich parents who could afford some fancy boarding school. He could almost bet this kid was raised with an iPad in her hand, forming her brain into one that constantly needs stimulation in order to not act out. That was definitely why she was lashing out at him.
Well it wasn’t like it mattered. A hurt student was a hurt student, no matter how messed up her brain was.
“You do need my help. Stop backing away, it’s embarrassing.” His words were firm as he moved closer, and wrapped his arm across her back and latched his hand under armpit to support her, “Now let's go. Doctor is out, so you’ll have to deal with me.”
He took one step towards the bench, hoping she would just follow along. He really did not feel like fighting a dumb kid today. |

E mbarrassing ?! He thinks this is embarrassing ?! What's really embarrassing was him ! THAT STUPID JANITOR !!! That , y'know , CAUSED HER TO FALL ON HER ANKLE ? And covered her in dirty ass water ! It was a shame it wasn't someone that she could beat in a fight !
She saw his hands moving towards her body , trying to move away , but to no avail . He managed to grab her , with Kseniyev squirming and trying to get out of his grasp .

Once she said that , a wave of pain shot up from her ankle to her entire body . She had stepped on it again while trying to pry herself off from the janitor , letting out a wince of pain . It was then , that Kseniyev finally decided to comply . She adjusted herself , making him place her sideways on the bench . Her ankle had swelled up quite a bit from all her attempts at walking on it .
What would he even do to her ? She hated that creepy , murderous doctor that she heard rumors about , but aid from someone like Eduard ? She didn't know what was worse . Fuck . She just wanted to disappear , maybe she'll be lucky enough to pass out from the pain .

EDUARD A. WINKLER Panacea academy, british columbia, canadA Despite the young lady’s objections, Eduard was able to lead her (slowly) over to the bench, and get her ankle propped up on the arm of the thing. Even through her stockings, it was clear to him that her ankle was very swollen. Damn. His cart (not him!) had truly done a number on the poor girl, not to mention she had murky mop water all over her uniform. Luckily the things were dark, or else she might’ve been out a uniform.
“Is your cart made of fucking cement? You fucking broke my shit!”
Yelling! So much yelling. She needed to shut up. Not because he was worried about getting in trouble himself, but because he was worried not only about her getting busted but if she caused a scene, then all these people would come rushing out and demanding that Eduard tell them what the hell was happening. Eduard despised attention like that.
“Hey listen I know your underdeveloped brain can’t think of any words other than ‘fuck’ to say, but can’t you please just shut your mouth for a second?” Eduard furrowed his brow. To say he wasn’t looking forward to trying to figure out if this was a sprain or potentially a break was an understatement. He knew that either way the girl was going to scream and he did not want to deal with that. (Again, people coming out, him explaining, etc, etc, annoying.) But it was something he had to do.
For now though. Ice.
“Please don’t move. I have to get ice.”
Clenching his fists, he turned around and ran off in the direction of the teacher’s lounge. It was a room he didn’t really use or feel particularly welcome in, but he didn’t hesitate when it came to busting through the door to help someone who needed it. He stepped towards a table with a plastic bag sitting on top of it, and dumped some poor soul’s lunch out, before proceeding to fill the bag with ice from the ice maker.
It took him no longer than five minutes to make it back to the potentially sprained ankle- er, loud girl.
“Now tell me where it hurts, and then we will put ice on it.” He leaned over and gently pressed on her ankle bones, before pressing on the more meaty areas. Theoretically it would hurt her more to be touched on the meat areas if it was a sprain.

T hat janitor ( not just his cart , because he clearly did that shit on purpose to stop her from leaving ) just BROKE HER ANKLE . Broken ! Irreperable ! Destroyed ! All because of some crusty old man ! She could sue his ass ! In fact , she should sue his ass ! Her dad had a bunch of connections , she could do it easily ... if they spoke English . Okay . That's off the table for now .
And now he's calling her brain underdeveloped ?! He was the one with an underdeveloped brain , thinking he could bash her with his cart like that ! He was the one with no wrinkles in his brain ! And saying fuck all the time ? That one was just a straight up lie .

She .. realized that curses were about 70% of her vocabulary in that moment . Maybe that wasn't a lie . Granted , most of her English came from quite graphic movies and shows . Even her speech teacher was shocked at how filthy her mouth was .
He told her to stay put , and she did . Leaving would cause her more pain . She knew that . She did want to leave , though . Taking a glance at her ankle , it really didn't look good . She couldn't even walk in this state , there was no way she could leave .
She let him prod his fingers over her ankle , though not without objections and arguing . The boney parts were fine to the touch , but when he touched a certain meaty part , she instantly flinched , hissing in pain , pulling her leg backwards ( which only caused it to hurt more ) . | Mood : pissed and in pain Outfit : school uniform (now soaked with dirty mop water) PENNED BY SYLV |

EDUARD A. WINKLER Panacea academy, british columbia, canadA For all of her objections, iPad Girl sure didn’t seem to mind him helping her out. Although based only on what she said aloud, Eduard could only assume that she probably had a much worse string of objections internally. Well ‘good for her’, he thought, because he had his thoughts about the brat, and none were too pretty either. And maybe it wasn’t very mature of him to think about a student like that, but ach well, it wasn’t like he was a teacher anyway. There were no requirements for him!
But when she shrunk away from his touch, he suddenly felt a bit of guilt. So it was potentially a sprain, “Uh.. keep this on your ankle. The ice will help with the swelling. But we should probably get you back to your room first. So you can change and get proper rest… I’ll make sure to let your teachers know what happened here.” Eduard wasn’t going to add that he literally caught her skipping class, but he’d hoped that would be implied, “But uh… if it hurts worse tomorrow well I guess, let me know, and I can take you to the hospital. Or… get someone to.”
That was the last thing he wanted to do, really. But at the very least he had to offer. He wasn’t going to let a student get hurt on account of him, and then have her going around telling everyone that old man Winkler “got a student hurt and didn’t bother to help him out.” Of course if it was her, there would most definitely be more than a few curses in there.
Ugh.
“And when you go to your room, keep the ice there and find something to prop your leg up. It’ll reduce any swelling. I’ll walk you there… just be careful about putting weight on that leg.” He held his hand outwards for the girl to grab a hold of, and just really hoped that she would take his advice, and not freak out.

T aking the ice bag from him ( and ignoring how nasty the inside looked , with whoever's leftover food that was ) , she held it on her ankle . It .. actually felt better . She honestly thought it'd hurt more , knowing that he , again , for the third time , BROKE HER ANKLE . She'll never get over that .

The only positive thing here was that she didn't have to go to class . Or the rest of her classes . She was gonna change , take a long , hot shower , then go to sleep. She hoped her ankle would feel better by then . Even if it didn't , she wasn't going to some dumb hospital . She hated hospitals , and she hated getting help like she was now . Unfortunately for her , she didn't have a choice in the matter .

She complied , grabbing hold of his hand and walking ( limping ) with him to the Silverbranch dorms . Once she unlocked her room , he had left her to deal with the injury herself . Thankfully , she was alone . She took off her shoes and stockings , revealing the gnarly bruise she accquired from the incident . Fuck .. it really was bad . She figured she'll take a shower first , then actually follow his advice , keeping ice on her shit and elevating her foot . He'll pay for this , just you wait ...
