Penny originally had thick dirty blonde hair, sometimes teased by other kids as "dishwater blonde". It was a mix of her mother's straw blonde and her father's brunette hair color, but she despised the similarities to her mother and kept bleaching it until the color faded to white. She will often try to style it in all sorts of ways, but her hair is so thick that sometimes maintaining and taming it becomes difficult. She has managed to get it under control by getting it thinned every once in a while. Recently, she has added rose red highlights, as it matched the color of her favorite flower.

Vibrant and bright in hue, Penny boasts beautiful aquamarine eyes. They're quite expressive, actually, and she struggles to hide how she feels because they tend to just give her away. She frequently accents these with makeups, usually eyeliners in black, red, or white, as well as lovingly applied mascara. Occasionally, she will add touches of eyeshadow to bring it all together.

For a girl as delicate as she is, she still cuts a startling height to her peers. Penny stands at a stark 5'9, often quite a bit taller than other females her age. She's pretty thin actually, though she is not in any way unhealthy or underfed. She has a slight muscle tone from participating in all sorts of crafty activities, as well as the athletics she would practice from time to time. She has paler skin derived from her mother, and she used to be bothered by it when she was younger, wishing she looked more like her father.

Penny tends for cuteness or elegance, often making her own clothing when possible, and definitely prefers to make her own accessories. She tries her hardest to ensure the best quality of materials, while capitalizing as much as she can on comfort rather than taking the "beauty is painful" approach. Here and there she will add various things inspired by fairytales, and has a preference for flowers, especially the rose.

Lacking little in nurture as a child, Penny is bright and cheerful. She lacks little in energy and enthusiasm, though she doesn't stray into blind positivity either, it takes a lot to get her down and even then she bounces back quite quickly. She is also quite a girl's girl and surprisingly easy to fluster. She'd be the trope of blushing the instant she gets spoken to by a crush, or the type to kick her feet in bed and squeal if they texted.

She is an adventurous extrovert, and hesitates little in putting herself out there or trying to meet new people with the hopes of becoming friends. She is also not the type to turn a bind eye to things she doesn't like, which can lead to the girl getting herself into trouble. If she were to see bullying, she would be the type to defend someone, even if they didn't ask. However beneath the surface, there lies a resentment. While she is rather well-adjusted for the most part, she dislikes any mention, questions of, or images of her mother. It can sour her attitude until she has the time to calm down.

🌸 Penny really, really, REALLY likes fairytales. Not so much the grimdark ones, but the ones with magic and dragons and fantasy creatures. She likes the brave knights and princesses, and they get bonus points if they are a girl power type fairytale ontop of it. She has super fond memories of her grandmother bringing home all sorts of old thick tomes of them, with hand-painted images. Sometimes even from different areas of the world! Her biggest dream is to attend Renfaire.

🌸 Penny is super into crafting her own accessories and making her own clothing at times. She knows hot to knit, sew, as well as properly measure and cut fabrics. She can also use a hot glue gun with ease, as well as a variety of handy skills that go with the interest. As such, she has a natural talent for design, as well as the quality of various materials as well. This is another activity she she engages in with her father, being as he has taught her proper safety as well as helps her make various articles of clothing she possesses even now.

🌸 Penny adores the outdoors and such a thing tends to keep her quite physically fit. She loves the freshness and freedom of nature and the exploration opportunities, and as such, will often go camping or hiking with her dad. She would also go with friends if the opportunity presented itself.

🌸 Penny loves all sorts of theatrics, and would often watch recordings of them when she was able to. She has gotten a bit into acting herself, though in her old school there weren't many avenues to pursue this to any real extent. She'd often pretend with other girls that they were all in some big soap opera while they waited to go home, or at the park on weekends.

🌸 Penny has recently gotten a bit of an addiction lately to listening to bubbly music, recently k-pop has been introduced into the mix of songs she plays on repeat. She prefers the girl groups to the male ones, though she has both in her huge playlist of doom.

🌸 While Penny likes cooking in general, she has found a particular fondness for baking. She's always looking for new sweet treats to make! So far she has a preference for macarons, and various tea cakes and cookies.

🌸 Penny also has developed an interest in gardening, finding that it helps keep her grounded and calm when she's feeling upset or stressed. She has a preference or planting flowers, but she isn't opposed to trying all sorts of plants, and has recently started maintaining a berry bush.

Penny has had nothing short of a happy upbringing. She was cared for and beloved, and even from an early life she was exposed to all different sorts of life enrichment. She never once felt a shortage o love, instead her father and grandparents more than appeared to make it up from an absent mother. Instead, Penelope would have her eyes rounded in wonder when her Grandmother would open that thick old book of fairytales. The painted pages were full of colors and all sorts of adventures. Dragons, knights, mermaids, princesses. Tales in forests, on beaches, in old castles. She remembers begging to string up faerie lights in her room and ask for a princessy canopy bed, and that her dreams were made true no matter what appeared to be her desires.

Despite this the girl remained bright and unspoiled, even getting involved in chores without getting asked, or even requesting to learn more and more things. She was an friendly and enthusiastic child in school too, getting along with her peers and dutifully completing homeworks that she was assigned. Despite having a rather large circle of friends, she never really got into the mean popular girl cliche either. She was simply happy to be around people who were also happy to be around her.

It was hard for a little bit. Penny doesn't really remember a lot of it, but when the accident happened things were a bit scary. She remembers clinging a bit more, and trying her absolute hardest to help. She even tried to cook when she was allowed to, but sometimes she'd burn it. Maybe she clung some, but she was worried. She tried to do her best to even do menial things like keep everything clean. Eventually things were alright, and the world was brighter once more. As she aged she learned how to cook even better, her studies were good, and her friend group remained large.



Though she was close to her entire present family, she was always closest with her father. While young she had the habit of trying nail polish on his nails before her own, it's an activity she looks back on and finds amusing. His easy patience, as her ability to paint nails started from sloppy to meticulous. From plain solid colors, to adventurous nail art like she saw some artists create. Little flowers, heart designs, barbie pink! If anything, you have him to thank for nurturing the creative spirit. It follows that as she grew older and older and asked to make clothing like those in fairytales - of course he would indulge her. He'd teach her proper safety and how to put things together - and she would often watch closely and listen well. After all he's the very best craftsman in the world, isn't he? He knows best!

When she thinks back on it, she really was the causation of so many firsts. So many times she wanted to go see a certain movie, or be going to a fair and wanted to try a game or food. She was almost always indulged, and the care she was always shown made the girl kinder and more attentive for it. She knew that no matter what happened that she would be okay, safe, and happy.

As time passed, the little family continued on. They lived happily, and Penny was often out with friends or talking to them on the phone, but even then, she never neglected or skipped out on family time. Teachers were pleased with her work ethic and her good behaviour, praising the girl for even taking the time to help others study if they struggled. It seemed that she was naturally a very positive person, who genuinely just liked helping those around her. Many began to cite her as an exemplar of good parenting, a case of what good nurture and positive attention could mean for kids.

She hadn't ever really thought about her future, even as time pressed on. She preferred to take things by each moment, but imagine her joy when she would get a scholarship...into the very place her father was! When she received it, she was determined. She'd extend a kind hand to those around her, and make more friends for sure.
