Typically leisure wear, nothing too frilly or uncomfortable. If she really wants to make an effort, she tries to go for care-free, streetwear styles.

personality
When people first meet Adara, they tend to assume that she isn't an overly complicated girl. What they see is a girl who laughs loud and jokes with her friends. A girl who can't sit in one spot, and has a penchant for making faux paus.
Adara lives life with all her cards on the table, and she loves with her whole heart. Often, she expresses it through picking on and teasing her friends. This leads to mock arguments or play fighting, and of course a lot of laughter. Which often can cause quite the commotion. Her laugh is an abrasive one, often more of a snort and wheeze kind of a deal than anything cute or dainty.
However, Adara’s boisterous nature isn’t without its downsides. She doesn't realize when she takes a joke too far, and often fails to notice when someone is upset. She has a tendency to speak before thinking, which can result in awkward or even hurtful situations. While her friends usually understand that she means no harm, others might not be so forgiving. This has led to conflicts that Adara, in her usual fashion, tries to laugh off but secretly worries about.
She is rarely serious, but she puts a considerable amount of time and effort into track. She practices religiously, has a strict dietary regimen, and does everything she can to get that extra tenth for the next race. She places a lot of stock into her ability, and can even come off as overly confident because of it. Any loss she takes hits her incredibly hard, and sometimes it can take quite a while to recover.
She isn't the best student in the whole world, but she does what she can to maintain her grades, and she recognizes that she can be quite obtuse sometimes.
Adara’s world is full of contradictions. She’s a girl who loves to laugh but hates her laugh, who can’t sit still but can lose hours in a book, who is loud and brash yet secretly anxious. She’s a complex mix of energy and emotion, of confidence and insecurity, making her as endearing as she is exasperating.

* Track and Field *
The moment she steps onto track, she becomes someone else. She practices as much as she possibly can, and is always striving to do her best.
* Reading * Adara's favorite type of novels tend to skew romantic, but she also enjoys a good thriller as well. She loves something that gets the heart racing in one way or another!
* Karaoke * Anyone who becomes friends with Adara quickly learns two things. One, she has a LOT of energy, and two, she has an AWFUL singing voice. That does not stop her from dragging anyone she can to the nearest karaoke spot and singing her heart out!

biographyAdara's family believed that silence was golden, and a woman must always act posh and proper. Her parents placed a lot of stock in their reputation amongst their peers, and often tried to show off Adara as the "perfect young lady." Her childhood was filled with lessons in etiquette, attempts to cultivate an interest in classical music, and hours spent in art classes that she never quite connected with. Little Adara dutifully complied, acting the part of the prim daughter her parents wanted, but her heart was never in it.
As she grew older, she began to ask questions. Why did she have to sit still? Why did she have to wear itchy clothes? Why couldn't she talk to any of the other kids at parties? The answer was always the same, "because you have to."
Things started to change for Adara when she started going to school. While she always went to private academies, their atmosphere was still incredibly different from the one she had at home. She was amazed by the lively energy of the other kids, little girls with scrapped up knees and boys with dirt on their faces. She loved the noise and the chaos of recess, the laughing and the crying. Adara remembers very clearly the first time she actually got to run around and not get pulled away for acting improper. It was a revelation, and little by little, year by year, she started to push back against what her parents wanted for her.
It started slowly, small acts of rebellion that eventually forged a cornerstone of her personality. Adara would fidget or bounce around rather than sit still. She would speak out of turn, or make jokes that only she laughed at. Often, this lead to copious amounts of grounding, and her parents became exasperated by her behavior. They tried everything to get her back to normal- therapy, different kinds of hobbies, anything they could think of. They tried various kinds of physical activities to help get her energy out, like ballet, or swimming, but she wasn't interested in them for very long. The only thing that they were able to do to get her to sit still was a good book in the corner of the room, but even then it often was only a temporary solution.
During this time, her whole personality began to shine in full force. Adara laughed loud, talked often, and was often in trouble with her teachers for being a distraction in class. She became known for her boundless energy and signature laugh, and was able to mold herself into the person she is today despite what her parents had wanted for her. This really came to a head in middle school, when Adara made a push to join the track team. While it wasn't a sport they would have wanted for her, her parents relented. At least it was an outlet for her endless, relentless energy.
On track, Adara felt free. Free to be loud, free to push her limits, and free from the identity her parents often tried to force on her. Any accomplishments on track were HER accomplishments. She was naturally fast, and fiercely competitive, which set her apart from her peers quite quickly. Adara put an amount of focus and determination into the sport that she had never bothered to do for anything else. However, this amount of focus and intensity was a double-edged sword, and any loss she faced was an incredible setback. The first time she lost in a race she was hardly able to leave her room for a full two days!
When the end of middle school approached, Adara had racked up numerous podium finishes, and was hungering for more. She picked Panacea Academy for a number of reasons. The first reason being it was a school that her parents actually supported her going to, and the second was because she felt she could really break some of her own barriers that she had been facing in track. She began to attend the academy and was finally able to be mostly free for the first time in her life. She was able to go out to all the hottest spots in town with her friends, run as much as she wanted, when she wanted. Adara could talk and laugh and smile and never have to worry about going back home everyday to her parents as a disappointment. She could sing horribly at the top of her lungs, and be who she is wholly and fully, sometimes to the dismay of her friends.
She doesn't keep in contact with her parents much, but they do make sure to provide for her. They're always hopeful that this is just something she will grow out of, and that eventually she become a proper lady once again.
