The papers were still in limbo and due that, well, every so often the librarian would sneak his pet into campus. He hadn't been caught yet and he hoped that would remain the case while he waited. Hopefully, in due time, Dunkin' would be allowed on school grounds and he could finally be a bit more at ease in his work environment. On this particular night, Dunkin was indeed with him as he worked late into the night within the library. Checking books back in, cleaning the tables and making sure everything was within order for the following day.  This too would lead to the small issue of Dunkin' needing to go out. A simple affair of simply letting his pet out to use the restroom before they left the campus - however, such a simple idea turned into chaos. 

At some point, Dunkin' had taken care of what he needed to do and then bolted into the wooded area, leaving a very annoyed and concerned Willow to follow suit, figuring something had caught his attention - again. What had really happened was Osheen had brought Dunkin a nice little treat! One that he was not going to refuse and took off for it like a bat out of hell. The animal let out a happy little howl as he ran towards Osheen's location and doing a happy little tail wag. 

Willow, who had taken a short  with an idea of the direction his wolf had taken, stumbled in his run and crash landed face first into the dirt and promptly ate it. Smacking his nose squarely on ground, leaving him dazed and in pain. Gasping helplessly while he held his poor nose, that luckily hadn't been broken, but it was certainly bleeding. 

"Just great..." He thought to himself, not at all noticing Osheen close by or the fact that Dunkin' had slowed down and stood in waiting for Osheen to drop what she had brought for him to snack on. 

Dunkin' had waited for the right moment to snag the meat and have the best meal of his wolfie life! Meanwhile, his owner was now standing there in shock as he held out a hand to try and settle the young girl that had just yelled at him. Yet, she simply crumbled to the ground like she died of fright. 

Willow stood there, awfully confused with his other hand holding his nose. Slowly, the hand that had been raised lowered and his head went backwards. "Great..." He said aloud to no one in particular. Running a hand across his nose that was most certainly going to form a nasty bruise, he would turn his head to the right. 

It was as if on cue that Dunkin' appeared, blood on his face and snacking on the last bit of meat. The poor beast received the most heated look from its owner. "Really? All of that for this?" He gestured towards the meal that was now in the wolf's belly. "I hope you're proud of yourself." He signed to the beast, shook his head. Cleaning his face  on his shirt and his hands, he carefully gathered the student in his arms, gave a small whistle and the trio headed back towards the school grounds. 

Not knowing really what to do with Dr. Fang possibly being gone for the night, he took Osheen into the library and placed her down on the first sofa he could find. Leaving Dunkin' to sit in his office for the time being. He went to fetch something to clean the wolf's face and his own. Something that wasn't his sweater at least. 

He had to thank the Gods that Dunkin' didn't have white fur, otherwise his face might have been stained pinked for days and that wouldn't do! Luckily, his black fur was easy to clean even if he whined about it and lifted his head to howl to the moon. Boy, he was such a dramatic creature. His fur child had to be part husky with how he acted sometimes. It only made sense to him! 

Once Dunkin' had been taken care of, he took care of himself. Cleaning his face with wet paper towels. He couldn't find any ice for his nose, so, he would have to deal with that later. Now looking less like death but with a bruise forming on his face, he went back to the library to check on the student. 

What he found was a girl wide eyed and speaking a mile a minute. If Willow had trouble on a good day following speech then he sure as hell was struggling right now. He couldn't make heads or tails of what she was saying to him. Sure, he had his aids but with the speed she was vomiting's up words, well, it was impossible to keep up and understand her. 

Willow blinked a few times, shook his head and tried to figure out how to handle this situation. Really, he wasn't built for this kind of thing with kids. He offered her a sweet smile, at least one he hoped to come off as sweet. "I have no idea what you just said." He admitted aloud with one handed signs. "You're speaking way to fast, kiddo." He laughed a little bit at that. "But, you do realize its not a good idea to be out in the woods. At night. Alone - with meat?" Cause why the hell was she carrying all that was beyond him! 

He paused, waited a moment to see if she even remembered Dunkin' had been there, though, it didn't seem like the case. GOOD! He didn't feel like getting in trouble for having his animal illegally on school grounds. Not with him being so close to being accepted. 

"Why where you out there anyways?"

Well, by the way the girl was talking, she was clearly fine. A bit startled but good. Now, Willow just had to figure out what to do with her - he could write her up but that took paper work. Work he really didn't want to do at this time at night. Honestly, he just wanted to go home, shower, and sleep with Dunkin' - who now probably needed a full scrub down once home. 

That was going to be a blast. Well, thankfully she was going to keep her little discovery to herself. A breath of air left him as he felt relieved she wasn't going to go tell the world on what she saw tonight.

She even understood it was a terrible idea to go out by herself. Even worse idea to carry around meat and - wait, what? What on earth was she talking about just then? Slowly, Willow arched a brow as she kept rattling on. 

"Ah huh..." He finally managed to get out. He still had no idea what she was going on about and so he could only assume it had to be about Dunkin'. "I'll be sure to be careful?" Maybe he should just go with the flow on this one. 

What a cute, and yet, strange little child he had in his library. Honestly, he wasn't sure what to do with her or about her. But, at least it seemed she wasn't about to get him in to any trouble, so he most certainly wouldn't look this gift horse in the mouth. 

However, why did she look so chipper about all of this? He supposed it was due to the fact at seeing such a large wolf roaming around. One, that was going to be in quite some trouble once the two of them got home tonight! There would be no extra treats in Dunkin's bowl! 

Willow rubbed at his nose as she finally spoke once more. "Mr. Duval, if you please." He offered up his name. Which now, made him squint at the young girl. "Now then, miss?" He didn't think he caught her name at all or had he and just had forgotten the information? "I do believe you should head back to your dorm room before someone else stumbles on your little adventure." A pause in thought as he glanced up at the clock. "Hmm, perhaps I should walk you back to the dorms - incase." In case she got any more bright adventurous ideas. 

Man, kids could be troublesome sometimes.
