well, when he's not wearing his uniform james can be said to have a sort of relaxed style. jeans and tees are the staples in his wardrobe and you can't forget the hoodies and black shoes.

+ caring: despite his quiet nature, james really cares for people. he will help in anyway he can. especially if he sees someone struggling. he will literally drop what he is doing and go help. he has a hard time saying no, especially if someone asks for his help.[break][break]

+ courteous: he can be a bit shy when you first meet him. he may not seem it a first, but that's because he's fairly polite. smiles and greets people if they greet him first. manners make the man, or so that was what his mother would constant tell him.[break][break]


+ observant: he isn't always quick to rush into things. he tries to be very aware of his surroundings. he likes to read a room, if something is going on he will try his best to stay out of the way. he can be a bit of a people watcher when he's bored. people are just so complex and interesting.[break][break]

+ protective: he as a habit of looking out for others and it can be a tad annoying. he means well and it's a given if you are his friend. he isn't going to stand by if someone is intentionally trying to hurt you. he worries and just wants to make sure his friends are safe.[break][break]

- perfectionist: its as the saying goes, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. except when it comes to james, it's better if someone else does things. he will fixate on something till he gets it right. even to the point where it's the only thing he will think about. it's not good, he will need constant reminders to let things be.[break][break]

- stubborn: if he's set on something, he going to do it. that isn't to say that he won't listen to reason. it just might take him a bit longer to realize it. [break][break]

- sarcastic: he smiles as he says something a bit mean. was there some truth to it? probably. he tries not to be super petty, but a snarky remark here or there and you know something must be bothering him.[break][break]

- resentful: fool him once, shame on you. fool him twice, shame on him. mistakes happen and when those mistakes can't be forgiven, james will continue to seethe. he isn't one for physical altercations. he just won't believe a word you say. james hates feeling vulnerable and if he lets you in and you hurt him. best bet things will never be the same again.

he consumes any form of scary media that he can. whether that be reading a horror novel, watching a scary movie, playing videos games and listening to podcasts.

at nine and a half years old james had left everything he knew behind. his friends especially. they all promised to stay in touch, but sometimes things don't go as planned. to say the least james was not excited to be going somewhere new. despite all the good things his parents were telling him about wisteria city. he just wasn't having it. why did he have to go to some place new? he tried to convince him to let him stay, saying that he'd move in with a friend and it would be fine. they could just go without him and he could visit during vacation days and weekends of course. alas, they didn't really like his idea all that much. things are not very fair when it's two against one. [break][break]

being the new kid in a new school was never fun. especially when all these kids grew up together and already knew each other. it was an understatement to say he was a tad quiet in the beginning. he still managed to keep in touch with his friends, but eventually even that came to a stop.[break][break]

slowly but surely he started opening up and making friends. or more like someone had managed to take him under their wing and let him join their friend group. they had become pretty much attached at the hip. so much so that they even ended up attending pancea academy together.[break][break]

the start of the new semester had brought a few surprises. the most impactful was the fact that one of his friends was no longer around. it was like he just packed his things and left without saying a word. he had even gone to check on him. all he was told was that he had left. with little to no information on his friends situation the only thing he can do it wait and not fall behind on his homework.
