 [attr="class","verde"] he laughed. well at least he wouldn't choke. there was that. he thought. though it probably wouldn't hurt to get some water in there from time to time. maybe his would be pizza. or maybe that was just what he was thinking he could have a some point today.
he nodded as avery told him how the cooking class went. he agreed it would be fun to learn how to cook. seth had the basics down. he didn't burn water so that was a definite plus."what's your favorite thing to make?"he asked wondering if he only just cooked at school or did he also cook when he was at home?
"we should play sometime. i can teach you the basics."he smiled. though if he spent his time watching basketball he more than likely didn't have to explain the rules. he himself had a basic grasp of the game. it really wasn't this thing. though the sport he liked wasn't something that was always covered in physical education."oh, yeah for sure. we also played volleyball and badminton. i think we are going to play soccer at some point to. do you have a favorite sport?"

Avery thought about this question for a moment. What was his favorite thing to make? There were many different things he liked to make ranging from all three meal times. He even enjoyed baking from time to time. But, after a moment if consideration he figured out his answer. "Waffles. I like making different kinds." Breakfast, the most important meal of the day was certain his favorite time to cook. Waffles too could be made in different ways and styles. "What about you? Even if you don't cook, what would be your favorite thing to make if you could make it?" He asked, feet swinging below the table in delight. His bright eyes widened at the idea if playing a sport but his mother's words came back to his mind. Making the poor blond sigh with a pout. "I wanna play but I promised my mom I wouldn't play anything that's a physical sport." Which sadly included basketball, among many other sports. "But it does sound fun. Oh, that's cool. So which sport do you prefer to play? The only sport I can so right now is Dressage." And that was on a good day, otherwise he simply brushed out the horses. |

[attr="class","verde"] "oh waffles are good."he nodded in agreement. though the only time he had waffles was usually when he would go out for breakfast with his family. or the frozen pre-made ones that you could just throw in the toaster. he really enjoyed the waffles that had the fresh fruit and the whipped cream on top. those were the best!
the question was redirected back at him and he laughed. it was a good question. if cooking skill was thrown out of the equation what would he make?"i really like pasta or maybe lasagna or something? though the fanciest thing i could make would probably be an omelet."he grinned. his folding technique still needed some work, but he was getting there.
he nodded as he heard basketball would be out of the question."is there any sport you can play?"he asked curiously. though he heard the answer to his question."oh, dressage. what's that?"he was positive that he never heard of it before."i did hockey for a minute, but i ended up focusing more on my figure skating."he nodded.

Avery loved waffles so much that if he had an actual kitchen in his dorm, he would have them everyday. We'll, hm, actually he probably could do that if he invested in a waffle maker. But holding the ingredients without a fridge wouldn't be possible. He could buy a pre-made mix and simply add water, but it wasn't the same. Waffles tasted better when you actually made them. Alas, maybe one day he'll have a room with a kitchen he could use. But, for bow, at least he could use the kitchen in the cooming class so long as he had permission. "Those sound really good actually. I'm sure you could make a really good omlete!" Cheery as always, Avery believes Seth could probably make all those options with enough practice and the like. Now, as for the sports question, the blonde had to think on this for a moment. "It's basically working with horses and running obstacle courses. It's a lot of fun really." Avery suddenly leaned forward excitedly. "OH! You do ice skating? That's so cool! I've never done that before. Is it really hard to do? Can you do all the cool twisty bits?" |

[attr="class","verde"] seth nodded in agreement about the pasta."right it's so good, and thanks."one couldn't mess up eggs. you could throw whatever toppings you wanted. though honestly the only way to mess up eggs was to under cook or burn them. which it had been such a long time now since he had last done that.
with just like anything. he figured he wouldn't know if he didn't try. though there would be other attempts before trying to make lasagna. unless he had someone with more cooking experience to watch him not make a mess of things. then perhaps he would give it a try sooner rather than later.
he nodded as avery explained what dressage was."oh, okay i think i've seen that on tv. i didn't know that's what it's called. that pretty cool."working with any type of animal let alone horses was really impressive.
he didn't know why, but his reaction made his face start to warm up. it wasn't anything bad, seth was just rather humble about his abilities."yes and no. i mean if you're just gliding around on the ice without doing any sort of spins or flips i think it's pretty easy. so the hardest part would be staying on your feet."he chuckled."but yeah i can do the spins and the jumps."
he probably knew the answer, but he just seemed so excited about ice skating."do you think that's something you can try? even if it's just standing on the ice?"seth would have no problem pulling him along with him.

While it was true that one couldn't possibly mess up an egg, he did know a few people that could burn boiling water. That was a skill he had yet figured out how someone gained. How did one burn water? Was it even flammable? It had to be considering he saw a girl in his class set a whole pot on fire once. It was so large that he just stood there in complete shock and awe as the teacher had dealt with the issue. Truly, it was impressive to say the least! He was sure Seth probably wouldn't have that skill. Back to the world of horses, he nodded enthusiastically. "It's really a lot of fun and kind of like what you see on TV. You should come down to the stables sometime and give it a shot, or just pet a horse if you want." The horses where sweet beans in his eyes. Always so well mannered and eager to run a mock in the fields. Well, all but one. There was an old mare out there that was moody as all get out. Sometimes, she would let you ride and other times she just stood still like a mule, refusing to move. Those where always fun days to be had! Avery made a little noise of awe as he listened to Seth talk about ice skating. His fingers drummed on the counter excitedly. "How hard is to do the spinny-spins?" He asked, thinking maybe if it wasn't too difficult he could do one or two. Maybe. Avery considered his question with a little ho-hum, "Oh! I think it's something I could try! It doesn't sound like other sports! I've never been on skates before and it sounds like fun!" And, maybe he could do a little hippty-hopity spin. That would be super cool! "Skating sounds much cooler then horses." |

[attr="class","verde"] he nodded at avery's words. it seemed for the most part he had been correct. it wasn't something that he would constantly watch, but he had seen enough of it to know what kinds of obstacles it had. well what he had seen there had been a lot of jumping over things. he smiled when avery told him he should go down to the stables sometime."sure! will you show me how to do it before i give it a shot? i mean i'm also okay just petting the horses too."he smiled.
it would be a first for him. the only time he had seen horses had been on television. it would be fun to see them up close. it was also fun to know there were horses on school grounds. he knew this was no small school, but how did he miss out on the horses?
seth didn't want to scare him off from even trying to skate, but he also didn't want to give him false hope."i think you could do a simple spin once you learn how to stay up and glide around without falling. making sure your feet in in the right position...i promise it's not hard once you get the basics down."he nodded.
it really was all about not giving up even after falling down a couple of times. there was going to be a few things avery needed to get down first before he could do a spin, but that was a great goal to have."yeah? well let me know when you're free and we can give it a shot."he chuckled at his words about how skating sounded cooler than horses.
