he hadn't meant to be watching him, but after hearing the loud complaints from another customer it was hard to ignore. seth looked up from where he was sitting and towards the source of the commotion. the line wasn't even that long. seeing as he could clearly see everyone in line. at the front of it was blonde haired kid.

people could be so rude. had it been seth, he probably would of taken a bit more time just to spite the person. which probably just him being a little petty and would he actually do it? maybe. there was definitely a different way that person could have approached it.

he finally looked away once the commotion had settled down. focusing on his own drink in front of him. it didn't matter that he came to the coffee shop for a hot chocolate. the boy wasn't a fan of coffee and they had a really good hot chocolate here. it even had whipped cream on top.

he was mid sip when he heard someone coughing nearby. it was the same kid from before."you okay?"seth asked as he set down his hot chocolate.

was there something wrong with the drink? seth couldn't help but be curious by his reactions. though it had been the choking that had first made him look up. seth nodded as he explained his reaction to their beverage."oh well that's always fun, trying new things. what did you get?"he asked before taking another sip of his hot chocolate. he always thought about trying something other than the hot chocolate, but he wasn't a coffee fan. he knew there were other things on the menu that weren't coffee.

everytime he tried to order something new he couldn't help, but keep getting that hot chocolate. the way he was describing his drink it made him think it was possible coffee."well, the hot chocolate is really good if you like hot chocolate."seth laughed. he did mention the pastry he had been eating was at least good."oh what's that? i usually get a muffin."

that made sense. even to seth there were things up on that board that he wasn't sure what they meant, but if it didn't say tea he assumed it was something to do with coffee. he nodded at his words. who wouldn't forget what they were going to order especially after the kid behind them yelled at them so rudely."is that coffee? i'm gonna go with it's a coffee thing. i'm not a fan of coffee."he chuckled.

seth nodded in response."yeah it's by the tea section. i mean it's pretty much all i get when i come here."he said with a smile.

he would be lying if he said he wasn't interested, but could he really take someone else's food? even if they had offered. of course seth had be curious, he could always offer to get him something as well."you sure?"he still asked before standing up with his mug of hot chocolate to go over to his table. it's the least he could do. he wasn't just going to take his food and not sit and have a chat.

besides it made more sense talking at the same table then across. as soon as he sat down seth pushed his cup of hot chocolate towards him."since you're sharing with me, you can totally try the hot chocolate."if he liked it he could offer to buy him a mug.

seth smiled at his words."yeah, no problem." he wished he had something else he could recommend him, but his inability to try anything new hindered him a bit. he would just have to bring someone here with him to give his drink too if he didn't like it. he'd feel bad for wasting. especially if he didn't end up liking it.

without an ounce of hesitation seth had offered him his mug of hot chocolate. once he had sat down."yeah go for it, i don't mind sharing."he said as he smiled. he really didn't mind sharing. he knew some people were hesitant about sharing drinks. it had only dawned on him that maybe he didn't want to drink from a strange kid's cup. though that thought soon went out the window when he saw the mug get accepted.

it was only then did seth reach for a piece of the scone that had been offered to him. he didn't want to take the whole thing. especially if that was the only thing he ended up liking. he popped the piece in his mouth and chewed. forgetting that he still hadn't introduced himself."sorry, i'm seth. i'm glad you like it. you can have more if you want."

he covered his mouth as he chewed. nodding at his words."i've never had it before, but i would totally get this. i like it. and i think so too. they go well together."he smiled.

it kind of made him want to get another one for them to share. though did he really need to get another one? he had scarfed down the muffin he had purchased before his hot chocolate was even ready. he shouldn't of skipped breakfast that's for sure.

he picked up the mug to take a drink after finishing his piece of the scone. he laughed as he set the mug down and slid it over to avery."it's fine with me avery, after all you did give me half your scone."he was glad avery enjoyed the hot chocolate.

he nodded once more as avery told him he was a sophomore."really? me too. maybe we have some classes together and didn't even realize."he chuckled knowing it was possible. this school was huge. he was positive there were still some places around campus he had yet to discover.

he smiled as he heard about the different flavor options. he would have to check to see what else they had available before he left. if anything he could just take one back to his dorm and have it for later."oh i would have to take a look for sure. are scones your favorite?"he seemed so excited talking about them.

he really didn't mind sharing his hot chocolate. he laughed softly as he watched avery take the mug. he was glad he was able to provide him with something good to drink. seeing as his coffee wasn't a hit. which maybe he was just being biased, but he wasn't a fan of coffee.

he nodded."i mean it's possible, there are a lot of kids that go here."he shook his head when he talked about his electives. they were completely different than his."oh really those sound cool. my electives are physical education and pyschology."though it made him curious to know about his cooking class."is the cooking class fun?"

seth smiled. with the way that avery spoke he could believe it. it was adorable."okay, but you would at least need something to drink with it."he laughed. then again avery had said he would eat them everyday, not that they would solely be his only meal.

though now that he thought about it. if he could eat something everyday what would he pick? there were so many good choices it would be difficult to choose just one.

"that's cool. do you guys get to pick what you make sometimes?"he asked before telling him what his class was like."i mean to put it simply we do a lot of exercising."he laughed."i mean the lessons change. right now we are focusing on running. learning how to stretch and working on how long we can run. before that we did play basketball for a minute."the teacher made sure to keep it interesting.
