Another day , another time Kseniyev wasn't in class . I mean , why would she be , class was fucking boring . It wasn't an uncommon occurence to find her somewhere doing something she isn't supposed to do , whether it be smoking , fighting , if it was bad , she'd done it at least once . She worked hard to get that " don't fucking talk to me or I'll rip your head off " reputation .
It's gotten to a point that teachers have had to patrol the halls specifically for her when she wasn't in class . The teachers that had her tried to stop her , but she , somehow , always found a way to sneak out . When it came to avoiding class , she was an unstoppable force .. when she was sneaking out . There have been a few lucky times where she was caught in the act and sent to detention . She got quicker with each instance , but they managed to catch her regardless .
But this time .. This time , she was sure this spot was foolproof . She figured out that it was a blind spot to the cameras , and it was away from where teachers usually monitored . It was a small 7 by 10 room that looked abandoned and unused . There was dirt , dust and cracked shards of glass on the floor . Nothing was inside it , the only things that were occupying that room was Kseniyev herself , and the cigarette smoke that filled it .
A third thing soon came closer to the room ; footsteps . She never seen anyone walk past here , so it was strange . Slowly opening the door and taking a peek outside , she saw that it was a boy . A rather meek one at that , one known for being a renowned loner . And this very boy had attracted a teacher's attention , presumably wanting to know why the boy was out during classtime . God damn it , she thought . This little shit was going to get her caught .. Or was he ? She had an idea . It might've been stupid , but it was her only solution .
With one swift motion , Kseniyev's hand emerged from seemingly out of nowhere in the boy's point of view , easily yoinking him into the room with her , quickly shutting the door , trapping him inside the smoke . Even she was a little surprised that she barely struggled , but she chalked it up as her getting stronger from her workouts . Once inside , she took a quick drag from her cigarette , whispering to him .

It seems that she thought he was doing the same thing she was .. Cutting class . And he was absolute shit at it ! Look at him , almost getting them both caught . Well , if he wasn't skipping .. he sure was now , seeing that her grip didn't loosen on him at all , not even as she was speaking to him .

Noah had always been the type of kid to stay on the sidelines of things throughout his lifetime. Sure, there were occasions where he found himself in the center of the figurative spotlight, but he always found ways to weasel out of it eventually. To the point that most of his peers in various grades overlooked him. They knew he existed, but that became the extent of it. Of course, when his parents sent him off to Panacea, the familiar environment he learned like the back of his hand had become no more. Weaving corridors, vast classrooms, almost endless hallways greeted him every which way he turned. [break][break]
And this day seemed to end up being one of the days where he found himself lost. Lost with no one to aid him at that. An exasperated sigh softly left those thin lips as he wandered along what he thought could be the correct direction. Possibly one he had supposed to take, but alas. Another dead end. However, it seemed as if his venturing managed to catch the attention of one of the staff members. Just before the fake blond opened his mouth, the world suddenly shifted into something dark, solitary, and stuffy. [break][break]
Large eyes blinked several times in his attempt to get accustomed to the lighting, but ended up coughing onto a palm the second the smoke hit his nose. Not to mention all of the unsettled dust the actions that transpired caused. Noah wasn't sure what happened to start with, but the second the voice interrupted the settling silence, the teen perked slightly up in attention. This allowed him to piece it all together to the point where it all made sense, thus, he opened his mouth to mumble a soft, "I .. got lost." in a matter of fact sort of way. [break][break]
He never really considered the possibility that he'd end up in trouble for it, but the way the other student reacted it seemed like he could probably end up in a heap load of it if they actually did get caught. With this in mind, Noah made sure to keep his posture miniscule and his tone soft, in hopes that they'd remain hidden a bit longer without really grasping the fact that this could make him seem like a total rebel as a result. By total accident, of course.

Frazzled . That was most likely the word she'd use to describe him . She didn't really get it .. was he that oblivious to the fact that you able to get caught doing something , or was he stupid enough to think he could skip out in the open ? He hadn't denied the fact that he was skipping , so that obviously had to be what he was doing . Her lips clamped shut once she heard footsteps getting closer , the teacher getting a whiff of the smoke . The bright idea finally came to Kseniyev , doing something she should've done the first time she heard company come over , blowing out her cigarette and stepping on it . She supposed she'd have to light another one when this shit was over .
Once the footsteps were a little more out of earshot , she spoke again , still whispering . [googlefont="Permanent Marker"]❝︎ How the fuck do you get lost while cutting class ? ❞︎ Usually , people had a school map with them , or scoped out the place before their actions . She furrowed her brows at him , annoyance on her features . ❝︎ Someone's new to the rebel life .. eugh . ❞︎
Something was off , though . There was something about him that made her stomach churn . He reminded her of herself during her freshman years , trying to be " badass " so that no one would mess with her . And she hated when people reminded her of that inferior version of herself . By all means , she did - and still does - hate the fresh meat that would dickride on her reputation , pretending they were all buddy - buddy with her so they could look threatening .
These were the times Kseniyev wished she was as heartless as she made herself out to be . She was disruptive , she was mean , she was even violent , but she was not heartless or guilt - free . And she hated every second of it . This didn't mean she'd be all nice , but tolerable . If he could skip just fine , he'd never get in her way again .
❝︎ .. If you're really serious about this , it wouldn't hurt to learn the goddamn layout of the school . I find the narrow passageway by the academy clinic to be one of the more secret and non monitored spots . Unless you're me , they're always on fucking ass .❞︎ If his goal was to be a rebel like he was trying to do just now , it was true . It was hypocritical itself , seeing as Kseniyev herself was a teenage girl , albeit taller and stronger than average , and was well feared by the community . It was a tip , a tip that still insulted him either way .
