Admittedly, not a lot of people tend to approach Hayato very often due to his 'delinquent' appearance. He tries to maintain this image throughout the entirety of his days ever since he entered high school. He more or less pretends to be the black sheep of his family, regardless if someone actually manages to put two and two together. In contrary to popular belief, he's actually very friendly when someone manages to take the time to get to know him. Hayato is extremely loyal to those who do manage to make their way into this category with every single fiber in his body, even if it's someone of authority.[break][break]
He will crush them. Crush them. He does have a heart of gold, he's just been hurt so much he prefers to be disliked by others than open himself up and become vulnerable for anyone to take advantage of his kindness. But if you do manage to get invited to a couple of his hang outs at the local karaoke bar with the rest of his gang buddies? Consider yourself on the right track. He is also the kind of guy that will indulge you in your supposedly weird obsession with mermaids or whatever band you've been fawning over. He'll treat it like it's no big deal, because it really isn't. People have likes and dislikes, so he won't judge you for something like that.[break][break]
He also isn't the type of person to make fun of people for no real reason. That guy fell down? Sure, he'll laugh. But he's the also the guy that'll go out of his way to help them up afterwards. If they don't run away from him before he manages to do it, that is. Half the time that's the general outcome, so he doesn't particularly bother as much.
While Hayato is more of a lover than a fighter, that doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to fight. He's been in enough brawls and scraps to know how to defend himself if ever someone wants to dance that waltz. He's also the type that'll hold a grudge for a long period of time with no real forgiveness in sight. He'll make snide remarks, scowl, the works. He'll make the person know they're disliked. And if you hurt his friends? Oh man, you're in for a treat. Hayato doesn't take lightly to something like that.[break][break]
To him friends are his family, so he will feed you a knuckle sandwich or five if he needs to. Rivals? Bring those, though. Definitely workable with someone like this guy. Another thing he doesn't like are people who think they're better than him in some shape or form. Stuck ups are something that remind him of his family, which is definitely a subject he tries to keep at bay for as long as possible. So if someone were to act the same way? He'll avoid them like the Bubonic plague.
Hayato will never deny the fact that he's had a couple of flings in the past because he's really not innocent at all. Granted, he's not the type of person who will sleep with just anyone on the first date. He's got at least some standards, but he's got his fill of crazy ex girlfriends breaking his stuff and causing a scene after he's told them he doesn't want to be with them anymore. Who doesn't have at least one of those at this day and age?[break][break]
He's very picky when it comes to people, though. I mean, he's picky with friends, how do you think those manage to reach this point? Unless he's just in the mood, but that's totally different altogether because he's blander than a box of chalk. [break][break]
