[attr="class","wjoshpost"]There was a giddiness in her heart and it made her...feel aggressive. She never expected such feminine feelings to flood her, but like all girls it was like a tidal wave. If she had been a boy perhaps she would have been opposed to being like everyone else due to pride. But she didn't care because she liked Brendon.

Liked him enough to skip an entire day to teach him to listen to her better. It was scary knowing they had just met and she was already so...obsessed. A soft breath left her as she silenced her phone and moved to get into her bed. Suddenly, her exhaustion pressed down into her and despite her lifting up the phone and smiling as she traced over the its sophisticated gold hue, she soon fell into a deep slumber.

Josuette didn't dream, she just awoke abruptly to the sound of knocking on her door. Glancing around she felt disorientated, like she had only closed her eyes for a moment. Lifting upward she picked up her phone and her heart jolted. Not only had she slept for hours, but Brendon had been messaging her.

He had sent her a lot, scolding her for ignoring him, but more importantly...desperate for her reply. She was making progress with him, everything she had done from the moment she had met him had all been calculated to make her unforgettable in his life.



She texted, but the sound of a phone going off beyond her door had her immediately opening it to see him standing there, all puffed out in his cute fury.

Josuette was still waking up, but she wanted to do something clever to have some kind of conclusion to what she had done because obviously it had worked. But she couldn't think of anything...she could only smile, clearly satisfied beyond reason that he was there.

[attr="class","wjoshpost"]Brendon's gaze had been lowered, his hands moving to his pocket to retrieve his phone, but then he was jerking his gaze upright to face her form. They were the same height, since she had removed her shoes for Aoife's preference.

Instantly her smile made his hackles come out as he demanded to know why she had been ignoring him. But that just made her smile grow. He liked her...he already wanted her attention. Her smile faded as she thought about potentially having to play this coy game of cat and mouse for any longer. She wanted him now...if only she could voice her wants and find a way to force him to agree to them all.



"I was sleeping," she decided to offer him an answer that wouldn't rile him up any further. Josuette stepped aside and gestured for Brendon to enter.

[attr="class","wjoshpost"]Brendon gave her a dubious look, but she suspected he was just moody with her. She didn't think he truly believed she was lying about sleeping. She purposely sighed heavily when he announced that he was not entering her bedroom.



She liked him...but he could be so infuriating. Josuette's emerald eyes stared hard at the wall across from her as she thought about how she kept forgetting how much of a resistance he put up with her. Why hadn't he learned? Had the hours waiting for her not been enough? How many times would she need to punish him for not doing as she said?

But as he went on and on, his handsome voice filtering into her room...she felt that stir of puppy love all over again. He liked her...Josuette smiled, clearly in her own thoughts that kept warming her expression even if it was at the poor boy's expense.

"This all could have been avoided if you had just sat beside me." She returned, at first to explain, but surprisingly a bit of her own frustration towards the matter came through her voice. "Get inside now or I'll scream." She finally declared, and looked deadly serious.

[attr="class","wjoshpost"]As expected he remained rooted in place. She wouldn't actually scream as something like that was beneath her. But she did still threaten him by parting her lips. Josuette felt that she had been so outlandish already that he would believe her...and that was exactly what happened.

"F-Fine," he fumed, embarrassment and anger fumbling together as he stormed in so aggressive...but to her he just looked so very cute.

She smiled softly, closing the door and watching him cautiously peer around the room. She imagined he was more than prepared to climb over her bed to get away from her once more.

Josuette still couldn't believe that was how their very first meeting had ended. "Thank you," she decided to reward him as she moved forward to sit onto her bed. "We should have lunch together." She suddenly announced, and moved to turn on her phone and order just like Aoife had done with her before. "What food do you like?" She paused realizing after a moment she didn't know what to order him.

[attr="class","wjoshpost"]She didn't like that he was on her roommate's side. What if his scent lingered there? She tried not to frown as she moved to the bed she had barely slept in.

“U-Uh… sandwiches, subs…pastas..."

Her eyes softened, when she saw his nervousness. His anger had almost completely left him. Looking back down to her phone she tried to google search nearby places to order, but in truth she never ordered food ever.

Narrowing her gaze she tried to focus on obtaining the food he wanted, but slowly as time trickled by she grew more and more frustrated.



"...I'm still getting used to the phone." She complained and held it out for him with a frown. "Order us something."

Her family may have been poor but they were still prideful or perhaps too private. Either way, no food was ever delivered to their place, on the rare occasion they did eat it was directly at the restaurant.

[attr="class","wjoshpost"]Josuette noticed Brendon glancing around her room, no doubt noticing how unused her portion of the dorm was. It was a stark comparison to her roommate's side. It made her ponder if he...had seen Aoife's side and liked it more than her own. Perhaps she should unpack and make it look more...homey.

Insecurity gripped her chest, especially when coupled with the fact that she couldn't even order them a decent meal. She hadn't known they would be eating together like this, if she had than she would have prepared.

Josuette stiffened when she saw the way he looked at her, how he spoke to her with his vast knowledge of ordering food.



"I can cook," she shot back feeling as though he were silently judging her as an incapable woman. "I'm an incredible cook," declared, emerald eyes narrowing onto him with a challenging look.

[attr="class","wjoshpost"]He wouldn't stop smirking it made her feel so aggressive, and he seemed to be enjoying himself a great deal.

Her mouth parted and she took in a sharp breath at his...audacity. Reaching for her phone she took it back with a temper.

"Show me to the kitchen. I'll make you a meal." Her heart was beating heavier from growing tension within her as well as a sudden nervousness. Despite her pompous demeanor, when it came to the boy she liked...she didn't want to disappoint him.

What if he...didn't like her meal? Were thoughts like this common among women and their crushes? It was exhausting to constantly be questioning herself.

With a stern and determined sigh, she retrieved her brush swiftly from her suitcase and moved to the full-length mirror near the entrance. Without saying a word to Brendon, she unfastened her messy bun, letting long golden locks flow down her shoulders as she began to brush her hair into submission. Afterwards in fluent confident motions, she began to twist her hair upward to form a French Twist, she would not leave the room looking unkept.
