Yeah! That’d be a potentially delightfully awkward conversation to have later down the line. Farrah would want to keep dancing as long as he could, but at some point he’d have to concede that keeping dancing as his elective for the year is going to be too physically straining for him. Aaaand he’s too proud to want to have to be even more pandered to, especially if it comes at the cost of his classmates having to accommodate him as well (group projects, etc). I think he’d feel very embarrassed when/if it came down to that.

(he’d keep dancing as a hobby tho, at least for as long as it was safe to.. and maybe, a little selfishly, ask if they could resume the private lessons potentially when he’s recovered sometime next school year).

Hmm, in my opinion the first option makes the most sense for their first thread! And that way it won’t be such a short-lived endeavor either. They could have even talked about going to see a production as an extracurricular study before, but always been too busy to be able to make it happen before now (later). Also, maybe make it more a fun shock when he suddenly drops the elective, cuz he’s a very dedicated student in all his classes so suddenly giving up to make “dumb” decisions is very out of left field if all you ever saw of him was the serious student side.

TLDR: I think we should start with a private lesson right off the bat!
