Outside of his physically demanding line of work, he's very fond of literature and gardens. He's a graceful, chaste-seeming man that takes his responsibilities seriously. He lives full-time on campus as the Goldenleaf Manor Housemaster, and when not on campus, he frequents Wisteria City. He offers private lessons and personal coaching to all students and adults who have a specific goal in mind, or would like to learn a new skill. Relationships

Astrofil has a kind, smooth, and elegant charm about him. He's easy to get along with and will always put the needs of others before his own, finding purpose in play his part as a guardian for others and a leader to help those learning from him to one day be able to spread their wings and fly on their own. He welcomes the company of his peers, whether if it's over a meal, an activity on campus, or collaborating on ways to liven up the campus and engage students with each other. Similarly so, with students, he's thoughtful and patient with them as he understands they're all teenagers with their own interests and hardships. Astrofil is, unintentionally, more so maternal than he intends to be. Often checking in on his students to see if they're fairing well at school, and always having an open door at his office, Astrofil is available all hours of the day and is highly dependable for any kind of questions or emergency students may have. Fellow faculty are included in this, making him a dependable friend and acquaintance.

Astrofil's love life is private, and currently obsolete by his own choice. He's a sensitive and deeply emotional person who has been in love, poured his everything into taking care of his romantic partners, and experienced heart ache more than once. The fear of being heartbroken, again, has led him to choose a life of solitude. He, in truth, still is haunted by the loneliness that creeps upon him in the quiet hours of night. He channels his longing, neglected desires, passions, and his heartbreak into several areas of his life: in dance, in writing, in painting, and even through the intensity of his exercising sessions. While he strives to distract himself from the possibility of dating again, Astrofil's commitment to others and his full heart naturally makes it a future battle between his fear of abandonment, and his longing for companionship.

I feel like Kitt's grandparents would have made sure to introduce them to the dorm master that they would be staying with, and with Kitt's regular seizures something like dance therapy would definitely help them recover their body control now that they're moving on in life and recovering. I feel like Kitt is going to be very awkward about actually asking him for any of the help they need, though. I can think of a couple different thread ideas that might be fun, though:
[break][break]- Kitt really doesn't enjoy dancing the way a dancer would, it's just the most fun thing they can try for body control and physical therapy. The other option is swimming, but they actually like that even less. Maybe Mr. Rosaura notices that Kitt usually feels pretty down about trying their dance therapy, and they can brainstorm other fun ways for them to take advantage of the things they're being taught, to help give sort of a motivating goal. Like hey, if you're dancing like this and your hands shake less as a result, you can sew by hand again--that sort of thing!
[break][break]- Maybe Kitt's grandparents didn't actually go out of their way to introduce Kitt to the dorm master and make sure he was aware of everything, actually. Potentially Mr. Rosaura just gets a notice/letter/email of some kind in the couple weeks after they've transferred in like "hey, by the way, school nurse is reminding you to keep seizure medication stocked on hand for the new kid, and oh yeah has anyone told you they already had a very public seizure in the stables?" I don't know how he would react to that, or if it would involve seeking Kitt out, but the premise seems fun and funny to me haha.
[break][break]- Maybe some kind of nighttime episode happens or they pass out after studying real hard in one of the common areas, and Aster wakes them up to send them to bed/realizes what happened & helps them out a bit. Kitt has a lot of anxiety about suddenly being in school, and it absolutely shows.

Hi, Snowpuff! Thank you so much for posting in my plotter!  I'm excited to discuss plotting with you, and arrange our first thread together! 1. I love what you introduced about the notion of Kitt's grandparents personally introducing them to Astrofil, since he's the housemaster! That's a great idea to have him be entrusted with that information of his health condition, and furthermore, being entrusted to take him in as his dance therapist!! I absolutely adore this idea!! There's so much we can incorporate in a gentle, steady, and smooth recuperating process for Kitt. Astrofil would take the situation very seriously, do his research on the before and after conditions of meningitis, and be super patient and gentle with how he helps Kitt during their therapy sessions. It'd definitely be more about Kitt's physical health, and therapy on an emotional and physical level! Being able to help him enjoy using his hands and arms freely again is so important and it would be so much fun finding different physical therapy activities for that! That kind of dynamic between them seems so sweet, and wholesome!  It'd be so lovely to watch as Kitt slowly grows into themself, slowly gains control and strength again in their body, and have someone supportive in Astrofil along the way. 2. I also think it'd be interesting to role play Kitt being very tired and Aster coming across them while they're either having an episode in their sleep, or they're simply so exhausted that they passed out somewhere (poor Kitt!)  The maternal-like nature Aster has would kick in, and he'd be very caring towards Kitt while gently trying to wake him up and cautiously guide them to their dorm where a nice warm bed is waiting them. Drawing upon your thoughts about the school nurse and maintaining Kitt's medications, I feel that Aster can be of assistance in helping Kitt in case they ever accidentally misplace it, or they're having an episode and Aster helps him get immediate attention from the school's medical faculty. 3. An additional mini-idea came to mind! What if Aster invites Kitt to share some tea with him before their dance therapy sessions? ^-^ Something warm, and soothing, to further put Kitt into a cozy feeling!

Feels sort of like Astrofil is going to become Kitt's favorite "teacher" in that case, just very neatly slotting into their brain the way they used to have a favorite nurse or doctor, & they would probably start coming to him for advice on even random minor things as they steadily came to trust & rely on him, and I am all about seeing that develop, it sounds amazing. Kitt's biggest goal physical therapy-wise right now is to be able to take their horse Sunshine out onto the school's trails, too, and potentially not needing someone else there in case anything goes wrong, so I feel like as they're working together Kitt will definitely be able & willing to sort of share what each of their new physical goals is as far as rehabilitation goes. I imagine somewhere down the line Kitt sees the first sign of real, tangible progress from their sessions together & the next time they see Aster they are just so excited about it, and probably hug him, hah. If you don't mind, I actually love the idea of starting our first thread off with Aster finding Kitt asleep somewhere and trying to coax them back to bed. Maybe they just spent way too much time in one of the public study rooms, being very stubborn about fighting through the lingering symptoms to finish an assignment that probably isn't even due yet...I can pretty easily see it happening, and it sounds fun. Maybe could take place before their first real session together, so it's their first meeting without Granny Henri & Papa Gerald hovering protectively around, hah. They would have been polite, but very obvious Helicopter Parent-types, though for pretty good reasons to be fair. I also absolutely love the idea of a little tea time or something before their sessions, sort of ease into it & give everything that cozy vibe before they get started. They should absolutely incorporate that into their routine, and maybe even have another cup afterward as part of their wind-down! ^^ I'm getting so excited about the possibilities here, thank you for plotting with me!  I'd be willing to start our first thread unless you'd like to, just let me know what appeals to you most to start with! Yay!! I'm so happy you like these bonding ideas we're discussing between Kitt and Aster! Thank you for sending such a thoughtfully written response!!! It's quite an honor that Astrofil might become a favorite teacher of theirs, awww! Horses are such majestic, powerful animals! It'd be so amazing to write out how Aster contributes to Kitt's journey of being able to ride Sunshine again...! I feel so inspired thinking about it, haha  If an opportunity arises in a thread with them (and maybe as a later-on movement therapy session), would you like to write out Astrofil assisting Kitt with having a calm, low-stress trail ride as a form of therapy? ^-^ Astrofil would help Kitt with saddling Sunshine, seating atop, and maybe also steer the reigns for Kitt as they go for a leisurely little campus trail. As for our first thread, yes!! I agree that's a great scene to start with! It's a lovely way to get the ball rolling in our posts, too, and to have a bit of a fun wholesome "before the helicopter parents enter the scene" kind of introduction! Authentic and coincidental bonding, for the win! Thank you for offering to start the thread for us! I'm super excited to begin writing with you! P.S-- I also love them having tea before and after their sessions! That would be wonderful!
