THE PANACEA CHRONICLE

A small group put together by Panacea Academy to give children the opportunity to learn about journalism and the media on a small scale. From positions as editors, designers and journalists, there are a lot of opportunities to learn about news. The Panacea Chronicle is mostly student-run and written with staff supervision on the side!

SUPERVISING TEACHER: @name
● Since students sometimes misbehave, there is a teacher who reads over all publishing of the Panacea Chronicle! Somebody has to clear it for swearing and inappropriate subject matter.

EDITORS: @name & @name
● Editors plan, coordinate and revise articles for the paper. They additionally hand out tasks to the journalists for potential topics for the paper and make certain events get covered.

DESIGNERS: @name & @name
● The individuals who make the articles look pretty and add the photographs and everything. They decide what photos will be used and stylize the newspaper template to fit the articles and be eye-catching.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: @name, @name & @name
● Photographers often work directly with the journalists to take pictures for the articles they will write. They are equipped with a camera and make certain to take photos that pair with the articles. They are placed in teams of two, but sometimes people may get shuffled around.

JOURNALISTS: Brasti Vanderfeld, @name & @name
● The individuals who conduct interviews, investigations and write the articles for the Panacea Chronicle. They are expected to find information and condense it into a bite-sized article. Depending on the type of article they are writing, research may also be involved.
