There is something about his eyes when you first meet Brasti Vanderfeld. An intelligent student who manages to get excellent grades and appears put-together. However, beneath the mask of false-kindness and charisma is somebody built on cynicism. Trust is a dangerous game. Giving it away means being hurt in return. Thus, Brasti is fixated on pulling the strings himself. Manipulative and always searching for information for it is power. He can either be a close friend or a worst nightmare.

There are multiple categories of friends for Brasti Vanderfeld. A benevolent touch occasionally loosens the lips of those you need to speak to when following a lead. Whether it is for the Panacea Chronicle or The Thousand Mouths Blog, disarming a person with kind actions is an effective tool. These are false friendships. Little ways to dig in and learn more before potentially allowing the crown to fall from their head. Falsehoods are not uncommon for Brasti, and he plays the necessary role to gather what he wants to know.

Genuine friendships are the next category, however, vary in their closeness. Trust is something Brasti struggles to give others. After his biological mother pulled the metaphorical rug from beneath his feet, he turned to cynicism. Initial instinct is the person is another manipulator, a fool or someone who would potentially take him down later. Control has transformed into a necessity and it shows how rarely he befriends people. Those trying may never become a genuine friend and it will be a slow-burn friendship.

King of Traitors in some instances, Brasti does not always receive trust in return. Rather, he reaps what he sows in the form of enemies. Perceived betrayal or mental questioning occasionally causes a target to be painted over Brasti's back. It is an existence Brasti had long accepted given what his aim is. Enemies are an inevitability when you become what could be considered a 'high school informant' who forks over information at a cost.

Furthermore, Brasti's favourite pastime, 'poke the bear', involves working toward gradually annoying the other individual. Frequently, this is done to the more short-tempered students who provide the reactions he desires. The smug smirk across his face as he pokes away at the person until they snap.

At most, mild experimental actions may have happened. Little-to-no genuine feelings beyond classic teenager curiosity. One-sided crushes are possible, but due to the circumstances of his arrival at Panacea Academy, returned emotions are impossible.

Anonymously run and owned, the online blog by the eerie moniker The Thousand Mouths unveils the truth behind rumours without a proper fee. Rather, the exchange of information appears to be the submission process. Provide something unknown, but verifiable and within days, weeks or sometimes months... something will be shed on the specific incident. Unknown to the Panacea Academy populace, Brasti is the site's runner, therefore, he can be anonymously requested to look at something believed to be untrue. This can be a discovery on who runs the blog (please note, this will take extensive plotting) or potentially the unknown relief or condemnation of another or oneself (please ask the other role-player if another <3). Overall, this can be used as a plot device for people and Brasti himself.

As a member of the Panacea Chronicle, Brasti does some school-friendly investigative journalism! Nothing serious, but perhaps a meagre research into how some band shirts got in the lake, or the mystery lunch meal from Tuesday. Overall, simple stuff that he could be looking into or speaking with somebody about.

Manipulation. An adequate means of information gathering via pulling the figurative teeth from another. Through any means necessary, Brasti enjoys picking apart people. Socializing is a peculiar game and one his mother has, accidentally, taught him excellently. Whether it be social semantics for information or a game of 'poke the bear' to intentionally piss someone off, Brasti's place is with social games. He is frighteningly a natural at it with anyone being a potential target.

Brasti genuinely gets amusement pissing other people off. He enjoys angering people and will gladly wear a smirk on his face as he does so. This game is known as 'Poke the Bear' where he intentionally tries to annoy those with a shorter temper. Usually, this occurs in locations where he can easily escape or others are around. He is trying to get you in trouble or at least annoy you.
