"Soooo ... " the teen began his sentence, keeping his eyes glued on the paper he had pinned between his fingers. "I have to look foooor.. this person?" he questioned aloud, not really expecting any sort of response from anyone at all. The science teacher had instructed the group to get together in pairs, and due to Caleb being the only one without a partner, he'd been sent out to find the sole student that didn't show up to class. He'd been told several stories of the student in question, but Caleb's father taught him to never judge a book by its cover. Which is why he took all of those negative comments in stride as he meandered through the learning comms. He'd been told this is were they last saw them anyway, so Caleb figured that he should take his chances there first. With paper folded and tucked away in his back pocket, the teen adjusted his messenger bag on his shoulder once more as he skimmed the area, making sure he didn't accidentally miss them. It didn't necessarily take him long to actually find the person he'd been seeking. At least, by what his fellow classmates had described them anyway. A couple of distinguishing details about their person that stood out for sure helped him along. Caleb figured this could definitely be the right person, or.. he could be wrong? Whatever the case may have been, he placed his steps onward, slowly coming into view to the individual that sat there on the bench not too far away from him. "Um, hi. Were you supposed to be in Miss Charlotte's science class?" he questioned, tilting his head just a bit to one side in an attempt to gain their attention.

As Caleb approached Sebastian, he was smiling. As soon as Caleb opened his mouth, Sebastian was sorry he allowed him to get closer. Sebastian sucked at Science and Math. He was good at History and English. But Science? Yech. No that wouldn't be the right way of putting it. OMFG! yeah, that woudl be the right way to put it. So, yes he was supposed to be in Science class and he decided to do something instead. Anything. He was outside playing his guitar and now he was inside looking at his homework for History. Caleb stared in silence for a couple of moments to allow the cogs and gears to grind in his mind. He.. did find the correct person, right? By the way they reacted it caused Caleb's brows to furrow in partial disbelief. "You're... Sebastian?" the teen blinked at the piece of paper he held in his possession, then back to the other student. [break][break]
Back to the paper. Then at him. Until something finally clicked in his head. A forced smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "Actually, I'm not a prefect. But.. um, do you know someone named Cyrus by chance?" he inquired softly as he stared. He really hoped this wasn't the same guy, but if it was.. life and fate were definitely in cahoots.

Sebastian had a bad run in with Cyrus in the theatre he was hoping to forget about. Now Caleb was asking about him? Great. What he do? He could lie, but Caleb would probably know they were in the same class together. Why would he ask if he was supposed to be in a class only to ask about Cyrus? What was on that piece of paper he was referring to? Way too many questions ran into his head. "I know him but what do you want from him?" Sebastian was too curious not to ask at least one question. "Am I not the person you're looking for? Why did you ask if I was supposed to be in Science class?" While the tension Sebastian was feeling eased a little, he still wondered what Caleb was doing. While Caleb might have been with a class full of students, his forgetfulness remained prominent in regards to a lot of things. And to have someone in his class wasn't enough for the teen to easily remember, let alone have it stick to his mind if they weren't necessarily important enough. The array of questions laid out before him did catch his attention and, as a result, made his brows furrow just a bit once again. This much.. he did remember. [break][break]

Sebastians' curious nature couldn't help but force him to look at the piece of paper in Caleb''s hand. He noticed a few things and suddenly realized he was quite thankful not to be in Science. If anything, he might drop the class. Why? He had the sudden terrible idea that they might have to dissect a frog, something he refused to do. Not only did he find it disgusting, but he hated the idea that the frog might've died just so the academy could have its students cut apart frogs. Normally, he would demand that Caleb do the cutting into, but he decided to stand on moral grounds. But maybe he was wrong. Maybe it had nothing to do with dissecting the innocent reptiles. "Please tell me that we are not required to dissect a frog." Sebastian said slowly, the disgust of the idea evident in his face and tone. "Please." Blinked a couple of times at the response he obtained. While half of him expected it, the other displayed a look of surprise. A slight rub to the side of his neck is given before he glanced off towards a different direction. "Well, the teacher said we would be dissecting a replica. Not necessarily the real thing, but very close." his hand lowered back down to his side before he retrieved his phone. [break][break]
During the span of their exchange, Caleb receieved a couple of messages from his friends. And Johnny. Especially the latter. He loved both Cyrus and Farrah dearly, but something about Johnny...— Caleb cleared his throat and shook his head in his attempt to rid himself of the whole thing. "But it's fine. I'll just tell the teacher to get me a different partner. No pressure." Caleb reached out and took the piece of paper back which had all of the important topics that were meant to be discussed with each project. [break][break]
Caleb needed to sort this out before he went and met up work Johnny for their lessons.

Sebastian remembered a time a fellow student told him when he dissected a fetal pig. It was just utterly disgusting. Water and formaldehyde and yech! Just complete nastiness. he didn't want to do it either, but he was forced to because his partner didn't want to cut it open either. Sebastian wouldn't mind if it was a plastic toy of a frog with the different body parts inside it. That might be educational and not immoral at all, since he wasn't cutting into a real frog, dead or alive. But what were the chances that it would be only a toy? Sebastian wasn't very sure

Caleb blinked, "The.. same way you dissect a normal frog? It's just plastic. Unless that stuff grosses you out, I guess." a slight shrug is given. Caleb took notice of the vibrations felt from his pocket and retrieved his mobile device once again. After he unlocked it, another smile graced his lips to the words on the screen. Clearly, he had already lost a generous degree of interest in regards to pursuing their project. [break][break]
At least with the current circumstances. Upon hearing the other student speak, Caleb raised his gaze once again. "Hm? Oh. Right. I'll talk to the teacher and tell her you don't really like that kind of stuff. Don't worry. Sorry, I gotta run." he lifted a hand to excuse himself. His friends took first place, after all.

Sebastian didn't understand how this kid who looked for him could be running away from him. "I don't mind if it's plastic." Sebastian said. "I think that will be different. Hey, where are you going? Let's talk about this."Sebastian wasn't going to let the kid just go like this. He didn't understand that it would be a plastic frog. That was entirely different, he thought. So why didn't he say it was a plastic replica instead of an actual frog? So Sebastian followed the kid wherever he was going. He wanted to understand what the project was and he wanted to make his stance clear. It sounded like this kid was going to tell the teacher something that wasn't true. Why didn't the kid just stop and talk to him so he understood everything and then he could deal with whatever seemed to be so very important. Wasn't this important as well?
