[attr="class","wabisabi"] The warm, autumn sunlight laced through the classroom's large arched windows, illuminating it's pristine interior. What attention to detail Astrofil had in his life, he equally provided to the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of where his class sessions were held on campus. Before tomorrow's class, he wanted to ensure everything was tidied and prepared in advance for his students. He'd swept the floors, finalized his lesson plan saved on his laptop, checked the sound system installed in class to ensure they were still connected to his blue tooth device, and sorted through possible song choices for tomorrow's warm-up exercises. He left the playlist on in the background, as he proceeded with the rest of his to-do list. Busily so, Astrofil was entirely absorbed in his own isolated domain of work, dance, and silent contemplation. Taking care of his own corner of the campus brought him a sense of peace... even in these small, seemingly mundane moments of mere toiling around. Bringing a damp cloth of the final window, he was soothed by the warmth of the afternoon sun as he polished along the glass surface. It was relaxing, and nearly put him into a meditative state... until the last orchestral song on his playlist ended, and Golden by Harry Styles began arising from the speakers. A smile touched his porcelain features, and he lowered the cloth from the window. This was one of the songs he'd considered using in tomorrow's class, and the moment felt perfect to feel the rhythm and move his own body to the beat, just as he'd demonstrate for his students in the coming week. With the belief that no one else was within the classroom's proximity, Astrofil turned the song up louder. Near the center of the room, he got into position with a graceful and flowing sweep of his arms, and swept his legs in a technique from modern contemporary dance. In theory, the dance class should be rather empty at this time of day. Making it a perfect time to practice a few dances or just have his own bit of fun in peace. Not that he minded dancing in front of people, but sometimes he just liked having a place all to himself. Which is why he decided to head over to the, hopefully, empty room. Now, he did have a backup plan in case others were using it. He would then simply find a nice place somewhere outdoors or elsewhere with less people. So, when he arrived he was a bit disheartened to hear music coming from the dance studio. He groaned inwardly at the notion of someone being inside, but also curious. the music being played wasn't one he would have particularly picked to dance too but, meh, each to their own. Like a curious little rainbow eel, he slithered his way up to the doorway and peeked inside. Not a single student was within the room but Mr. Rosaura was certainly there. Dancing away and looking to have fun doing his own contemporary dance with graceful moves that Cyrus would be unable to pull off. His own style differed from his teacher, being more fast and sharp and far less graceful. After a moment, he decided to make his presence known if it hadn't been all ready. "I still don't understand how your joints don't freeze midway with some of those moves."

[attr="class","wabisabi"] The musical vibrations from the speakers immersed Astrofil, gradually, into the moment of solitude... alone, with nothing but his own choreography and the melody as his company. During his own time as a student at Panacea Academy, he would find quiet moments such as these somewhere on campus. At the sportsplex, the studio, or even an unoccupied classroom left empty for the term, he found his hideaway and begun his exercise numbers. It was simply... just fun, really. That, and it helped him burn off some steam, and fine-tune his own technique. Now, as a teacher, Astrofil didn't feel the need to sneak and find his private hideouts like he did back then. He would've continued to play through the dance number in his head, the youthful pop music creating the serene ambience of a simple carefree autumn dance without a care in the world. However, another's voice sounded from behind him, and the gentleman paused with his arms in midmovement. He was surprised, but his elegance as he came to a halt and his head gracefully turned in a single smooth movement to look over at the youth would've implied otherwise. Cyrus Makoa had, indeed, caught him off guard but what showed in Astrofil's expression was a welcoming smile and at an ease shine in his topaz eyes. " Ah, I apologize, I didn't see you there! Welcome back to our studio, Mr. Makoa," Astrofil answered with an honest small laugh. Reaching for his cellphone from his pant pocket, he paused the music track with one tap at its screen, and set it aside on the teaching desk. " How are you today? Did you stop by for for my help with anything, or were you wishing to use the studio for your own dance practice, much like myself? His smile grew, more spirited in nature and subtly poking fun at himself for... well, getting so absorbed into the song as he did moments ago. Maybe he should have just skipped on out to the great outdoors instead of making himself known to his teacher. Now, as the man turned to look at the student, Cyrus would stare at him with a half tilt of the head. Painted nails drummed on the strap of his dance bag that held what he needed for practice. Well, at least it was now confirmed that his teacher had been using the room to practice in as well. Ah well, not like that was a bad thing nor would Astrofil give Skittles grief over his dance and the like. "Don't worry about it, I'm good at hiding." So, the boy finally shrugged his shoulders in reply as he stepped into the room. It was almost painful how right he was at that moment. He was pretty good at hiding unless someone knew what to look for or how to find him. Years of dodging bullies gave you the skills of a ninja when you needed them. "Hmm, mostly looking for a place to practice." He admitted as he went to the corner of the room to where he usually shoved his bag. "But, if you need the room, I can go elsewhere and let you - ah - do the thing." Cyrus mimicked his teachers movements though a bit more dramatic. Really, contemporary dance was nice but moving like a graceful elk wasn't quite his thing. Though, he still appreciated those that could much like Farrah and his love of ballet.

[attr="class","wabisabi"] A combination of bright colors and rich dark hair brought a stronger, vibrant presence in the room, all in the forum of Cyrus Makoa. It was far more noticeable to Astrofil as the golden-hued light that'd bled through the arched windows shed an emphasizing glow over every loud pop of color, with every step that boy took to cast aside his bag in its usual spot. Astrofil's eyes averted and his smile cuffed towards one side in a subtle, amused smirk at the thought of how much trouble he would have been as a youth, if he so much as painted his nails a plain sheer shade. The monasteries of his cultural background weren't known for their open-mindedness nor any encouragement of uninhibited self-expression. Fear of war from outside the sanctuary walls kept he, and many other orphans, nestled within the confines of safe but strict quarters. When leaving his homeland, it was intimidating and shocking in several ways, but far more exhilarating and exciting in every way imaginable. With a re-enactment of his teacher's private dance demonstration moments prior, Astrofil's contemplative thoughts ceased, and he chuckled in amusement. " Well done! It seems you've already had a proper sneak-peek of tomorrow's new dance technique," He humored with a slow clap of his hands, and smiled invitingly with a hand cupping his chin, " The studio is always opened to you. Hm, I am curious... what will you be practicing?" In an instant, the form he held was dropped with a mild groan of displeasure. His body slumped with the news of this particular movement would be a part of tomorrow's lesson. "You're kidding me." Cyrus wasn't at all thrilled with this particular prospect of dance. Now, his friend Farrah, would probably be all over it., but not Cy. "It's not really a part of the lesson, right?" Oh, but it probably was and that drove the rainbow student crazy. He much rather learn a different style even if he knew that knowing more then a handful was good for him. It's how you grew but gosh darn it there was just some styles he didn't enjoy. This was one of them. The slower styles he just didn't care for...at least, maybe he could speed it up. Make it more interesting and less tree-ish. Now, the subject at what he was practicing, ah he..ehe. he wasn't sure if he really wanted to say what it was for considering it was more so for clubbing and less for actual school dancing. But, he was good at telling little white lies and he could also do a different kind of dance, one thay wouldn't make his teacher raise a funny little brow at him. So, Cyrus smiled with an open handed shrug. "Oh, you know just a mix of things and some moves I'm stuck on. Been working with Farrah on some of it and they got busy so, figured I'll come up here for a little bit."

[attr="class","wabisabi"] Cyrus's lack of enthusiasm about the dance class's upcoming technique introduction was far more evident, and plain in sight, than the very nose on one's face. Astrofil had to restrain a teasing smirk from crossing his poised demeanor. Such a poised demeanor he attempted to keep intact. It wasn't quite as professional as he'd like, to tease one of his students... the temptation was certainly there, however. Just as he'd once teased his former roommate back during his own school years at this same campus, who groaned at the very prospect of having to perform a ballroom dance for their midterm final. " I'm afraid there was no joking on my behalf, but there'll be plenty of room this week to learn the technique one small step at a time. I have faith in your capabilities! Ah, and it's healthy to branch out every so often into areas of our lives that we're uncomfortable with, as well," He decidedly opted to encourage Cyrus, before his eyes lit at the very notion of two of his students practicing outside of class hours. He was glad to hear about his students continuing to spend time together and build more comradery outside of the class sessions that ultimately forced students to be around each other. Positioning himself near his desk, he leaned just the slightest against it as he smiled at the boy, " Would you be willing to demonstrate some of what the two of you have been practicing? If you don't mind, I'd be happy to see how you're coming along," [googlefont=Public+Sans][googlefont=Roboto][newclass=.subcategory1]display:inline-block; padding: 0px 0px 8px 0px; border-bottom:1px dashed #cacaca; font: bold 15px Public Sans; color: #444444; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform:uppercase; margin: 0px 10px 8px 0px;[/newclass][newclass=.wabisabi b]font:bold 15px Public Sans; color: #333333; padding: 4px; padding: 0px 0px 3px 0px; border-bottom: 1px dashed #b8b8b8; margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px;[/newclass][newclass=.wabisabi i]font: italic 15px Public Sans; padding: 0px 0px 3px 0px; border-bottom: 1px dashed #b8b8b8;[/newclass][newclass=.wabisabi a]font: 14px Public Sans; color: #111111; text-transform: lowercase;[/newclass]

Ugh,.contemporary dancing did not sound like a good time to Cyrus. It was as bad as ballet. Be appreciated the dance and art form of it all but it simply wasn't in his top ten favorite dance styles. He wondered if he could get away with skipping class tomorrow? Have a sudden stomachache but then, wouldn't his teacher catch on? Cyrus made a face of displeasure and turned away from Mr. Rosaura. Bending down he tug out a hair band to pull back his lose locks and a few hair clips. Using the mirror in front of him, he began putting back his hair. Once satisfied, his jacket was tossed on his bag, leaving him in a sleevless top. Without much thought, he went straight to the bars to stretch. He was in mid stretch when the teacher spoke again. Luckily, Cyrus wasn't facing him otherwise the man would have seen the look of horror on the boys face. Shit. Fuck. Dammit. He and Farrah were supposed to be practicing a routine that had been assigned to them. While they had been practicing they had also goofed right off. Turning their practice time into pole dancing lessons where Cyrus taught his friend Cupid and how to latch on properly. Cyrus was now sweating internally as he tired to recall what those damn papers had written in them!! Maybe he could save himself! "Ah, sure but that would require Farrah to be here since it's a dance that needs a partner. Ah, if I remember right from what you gave us...so, can't really do it?" Hah! Yes! Excellent save!

[attr="class","wabisabi"] Hesitancy riddled Cyrus's voice in a response that seemed... as though the boy were attempting to find a resolve that involved not dancing in front of his teacher in the current moment. As a student back at dance school, he witnessed many of his peers being called to perform in front of each other, only to bet met with harsh critiquing by their instructor. It was a performing arts school that participated in one of the larger European Opera houses. The bar was raised impossibly higher with every given performance, until students were either granted their entry into the grand stage for worldly audiences, or were rejected with a cold shoulder. It was one of the most grueling, heart-racing times of his life. Had he not paid closer attention to each of his students, their personalities, and how responsive they were to a dance class, Astrofil may have likely assumed that Cyrus's reaction was one stemming from a fear that he'd be ridiculed by his teacher. Cyrus wasn't a shy student, nor was he shy about dancing in front of others. Astrofil's topaz gaze became thoughtful, and understanding at the prospect that his normal practice partner wasn't there with him, all the same. " I see," He answered before making an offer, his gentle smile glistening upon his porcelain complexion, " Well, you have a possible dance partner standing in front of you. I'm happy to volunteer myself as a temporary stand-in for Farrah, and guide you through one of the moves you were struggling with before," He stepped away from his desk, and shortened the distance between them half-way, the sound of jodhpur boots lightly following him in a light echo across smooth wooden floors, " As your teacher, its my responsibility to ensure you're understanding the material. Thus, if I may be of any help to you, I'm available," [googlefont=Public+Sans][googlefont=Roboto][newclass=.subcategory1]display:inline-block; padding: 0px 0px 8px 0px; border-bottom:1px dashed #cacaca; font: bold 15px Public Sans; color: #444444; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform:uppercase; margin: 0px 10px 8px 0px;[/newclass][newclass=.wabisabi b]font:bold 15px Public Sans; color: #333333; padding: 4px; padding: 0px 0px 3px 0px; border-bottom: 1px dashed #b8b8b8; margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px;[/newclass][newclass=.wabisabi i]font: italic 15px Public Sans; padding: 0px 0px 3px 0px; border-bottom: 1px dashed #b8b8b8;[/newclass][newclass=.wabisabi a]font: 14px Public Sans; color: #111111; text-transform: lowercase;[/newclass]

Ah yes, and here was a pickle of his own making! Stuck so far in the jar that there was no way he as going to get out of this one. Focusing on his stretches he wrecked his brain for anything that might aid him in his time of great need! Alas, nothing came about and so he started to sweat internally even more so then before. What was that dance? It was a slow couple dance and while he did like them he still wasn't a fan of slow moving dance in any form. Nails drummed against his ankles in thought. Tugging at his memory as he changed legs and so forth. His gut met the floor as his teacher declared he would be a suitable partner. "Fucking hell...." The teenager thought to himself. Well, he suppose he could just wing it from what he could recall of the dance. Standing up right with hands on his hips, he showcased false confidence in what he was about to do. "All right, I guess you have a point." And then, it occurred to him he could try fishing for a little aid here! He put on a thoughtful expression. "Hmm, wait, which one were we supposed to be doing again? We've done so many lately..." Yes, yes, fish for that little hint of what dance and then maybe he could fake it until he made it!
