We're gonna fly away [attr="class","prism-onebody"]  The sudden compliment was unexpected, Penny found herself getting a bit shy due to it. She would often get praised for hard work or good behaviour by her father, sure, but hearing a random compliment from a friend was an entirely different ballgame. Part of her wanted to squeal in what would probably be a loud and high-pitched fashion, the other part of her wanted to curl up and hide. "You'd make a far better dance routine than I would. At least we cover each other's weaknesses?" Okay maybe she was deflecting the topic just a little from the compliment, not wanting to blush over something so silly. [break][break] She blinked again at Adara's infectious energy, nodding again as the smile resettled over her face. "But what would we even call ourselves? Maybe we can match the outfits we make to whatever theme our name has." Maybe that was a little bit of wishful thinking, chasing after a cohesive theme all neatly put together. Not everything worked out so perfectly, and she knew that very well. She knew of a group that all wore outfits themed aftere honeybees, or one that sorta dressed like high class wine aunts. So she wouldn't want to outright step on toes, or copy someone else's trademark either. [break][break] She was probably overthinking it, as it was unlikely two students of their ages would ever be taken even slightly seriously. They were just goofing off, living in the grandeur of their own dreams. "Maybe I should make an actual idol's diary. Make up some dramatic things and write like they're reality." If she ever lost it, well that would make it entertaining reading. Ooooh, she should totally come up with an interesting "idol name". Clover? Daisy Crown? No, those may be a little too cliche. Eh, whatever. Something would come to time eventually, so it wasn't that bad of an idea. "No, I'd help with that, um if I could figure it out."Idol names... Idol names. Adara flipped upside down on the couch, her head hanging off the side, and put a hand on her chin. "Hmmm.... oh!" The girl's face flashed with excitement, and she looked over at Penny. "We could be the Gutter Girls! Like the song!" She stopped, a sudden, ugly laugh escaping her mouth. "Wait.. no that sounds awful." The girl sighed, turning her head to look back at the wall. "This is tough..." What would best describe the pair? They both were bright and energetic, and not lacking in adventurous spirit.
"Wait, what about like, a fairy-tale theme or something? You really like those, right? I'm sure there's SOMETHING out there that could fit!" Adara smiled wide, and she couldn't help but let out a small giggle. A princess wouldn't suit her, but maybe another role could? She turned her head to look at Penny again. "Ooooh, do you think I could pull off a princely look?"
She could see herself rocking something cool and semi-suave. She'd never swept a girl off her feet before— but Adara felt that she probably could. She certainly wasn't lacking in blind confidence.
"Wait, oh my god... Pen you SHOULD make a diary like that. You could fill it up with all sort of crazy things and then—like, maybe copy it and leave parts at school, just to see what rumors start flying around. Maybe it could even be promo…" Adara's excitement started to spill over, and her voice began to rise in volume. Her words were tripping all over themselves, but she couldn't help it. It was fun! Making the plans for something big and crazy is just as fun as doing it, probably more fun, honestly. No drawbacks, no responsibility, just hype. |

We're gonna fly away [attr="class","prism-onebody"] Idol names really did have a particular theme though, they ranged from anything as mundane as their ordinary name to super kawaii die of fluff stuff. She didn't think their names or a theme off them was exactly their style, if they'd pick anything it had to be something extreme. "Hey, I craft on a regular basis. I'm used to hard work!" When had she ever shied away from giving things her all? If anything all this was doing was raising up her excitement levels, something that'd fill her with endless energy. She shook her head at the initial suggestion, scrunching her face up playfully. "I don't think it's best to pick the name of a song anyways."[break][break] Her eyes glittered though as the conversation continued, eventually Adara mentioning fairy tales. Oh yeah, this was totally her scene above all else. "Prince charming style prince or the dashing rogue prince though? Maybe something inbetween? And we can name our debut list UNICORN!" Very, very cliche. Designs and patterns for clothing were already forming in her name, rotating through different color palettes. Fake posters and album covers all flashed before her mind's eye, fake merch and plushes galore as well. She couldn't suppress an excited giggle, this was way too fun now. [break][break] "I'm totally gonna make it now. I'll make it fancy and write in it with glitter pens. I can make all sorts of designs I can glue to the front and back covers too!" It had to be one of those fancier notebooks though, the durable ones with harder covers. "Like an idol treasure hunt? See which things get the most circulation?" Hmm, that could be an interesting way to promote the fake idols. She didn't have a problem playing the princess to Adara's prince, already used to elaborate clothing even if it was heavier. She had even wore afventurer's armore made out of leather, and that could get quite heavy itself. “I want to make girls swoon, Penny!” Adara put a hand on her forehead, turning her head with an exaggerated, dreamy sigh, like a love-struck maiden. "Oh, Prince Adara! Please give me a smile!" She said in an overdramatic, high-pitched voice. God, Adara couldn't imagine what that kind of attention would do to her ego
The thought was too much to bear, and she couldn’t keep up the act any longer. Her arms crossed over her stomach as she burst into a stich of ugly laughter. It took a minute of snorts and wheezes before she was able to calm down.
Wiping tears from her eyes, Adara spoke with a grin. “Unicorn is cute, though! I like it!” she said with a wink, flipping herself upright on the couch. The suddenness made her head rush, and she gave it a quick shake to clear her thoughts.
“Man, an idol scavenger hunt would be so fun to manage!” She sat up straighter, her excitement bubbling over. “Hm... yeah! Each page we leave around could have a weird little hint about who the diary owners are. Then we swoop in and reveal ourselves at the last second!” Adara felt the rusty gears in her brain start to turn. Images of stage designs flashed in her mind—a boat descending from the sky, lights set to look like stars. "We'll descend from the rafters..." She trailed off, her brain fully working a mile a minute as she imagined it.
