Bonnie's hair is a very light shade of blonde, and there have been times where people have wrongly assumed that she's prematurely going grey. She had a bit of a complex about it, but she hasn't worked up the nerve to try using dyes.
eye color
Bonnie is one of those rare individuals to have truly amber eyes. They can be pretty striking, particularly in the dark. Please do not perceive them.
height
Bonnie used to be the tallest one in her class, but as her classmates grew taller and hit their growth spurts, she got like, a couple inches, tops. Now at an absolutely towering, awe-inspiring five foot two, she's... uh... she's doing her best.
body type
One might not expect a capital G Gamer to be physically fit, but Bonnie's actually pretty on the ball when it comes to keeping herself in good health. She's not toned by any means, but she's got a lean physique with (relatively) long legs that make her pretty fast on her feet. Not that one's likely to see, given:
clothing style
Bonnie strongly favours big, baggy jackets and hoodies that hide her body from the world. She's on that dysphoria hoodie type beat despite not really feeling all that bad about her physical appearance nowadays. Old habits die hard, I guess.
That said, she's a big fan of skirts, stockings, and other feminine clothes. To her, dressing up means a nice, cozy sweater and a thick, plaid skirt with some leggings. She's all in on that comfy librarian style, especially with her wide range of glasses. Seriously, she spends too much money on glasses.

All that said, she's not unwilling to wear lighter clothes when the situation or weather calls for it, she's just going to miss being bundled up like a Christmas elf the whole time.

Bonnie is sincere. Painfully so. One might say that she has a way with words in much the same way that one might say that Jason Voorhees has a way with a machete. At the very least, she's not the sort of person where you never know where you stand with her. On one hand, she has a very stoic way of expressing approval or admiration; there are many times where she'll say something is 'okay I guess' and intend it to be the highest possible praise that mankind can achieve. On the other hand, the most scathing criticism that you'll hear from her is that she 'does not care for' something; god help you if she actually outright says that she doesn't like you, because clearly you've done something horribly wrong.
The reason for this sometimes frustrating level of stoicism is actually fairly simple; Bonnie has had her fill of false pretenses and insincere flattery. She's sick of people who feign interest in her, or who try to gas her up because they want to see her do or say more things that they think are funny and cringe. Strangling her responses and being blunt and reserved spares her the indignity of being another mean girl posse's lolcow, and if someone is genuinely interested in her, surely they'll stick around, right?
Truthfully, Bonnie is a passionate and creative person with a vivacious thirst for life and new and exciting experiences. Sure, she's reserved and keeps a lot of her stronger feelings and emotions under her hat, but she feels strongly and deeply about so many different things. She longs for someone who's willing to hear her out, someone who will keep up with her when she's feeling talkative and won't mind when she's quiet. The trouble comes from having to be the one to put herself out there. It's never been something she's been especially good at, and she knows that she has a habit of overthinking social interactions in ways that frequently blow up in her face.

hobbies
Find Bonnie in the arcade, she'll money match you in any fighting game they have and she will not be kind about it. She's got a bit of a chip on her shoulder when it comes to gaming, she's defensive over her belonging in the community and has a habit of indulging in classic FGC thuggery out of a misguided sense of self-defense.
Bonnie writes about new food experiences in a little notebook that she carries everywhere and never shows to anyone. She frequently goes on 'culinary adventures' as she calls them, where she hits up new restaurants that she's never been to before, or hits up old ones and orders different items. The goal is to step outside her comfort zone and try new things, with the secondary objective of exercising her ability to critique.
Sure, going on dates and playing sports is cool and all, but have you ever hand-crafted a realistic diorama of a war-torn battlefield and then filled it with hand-painted miniature spacemen in oversized suits of armour? Don't answer that. The point is, Bonnie isn't just a gamer, she's a tabletop gamer. She collects trading cards, she wargames with minis she's 3D printed and painted herself, word on the street is she even... roleplays! God, what a dweeb.

Bonnie has been trying to make it as a content creator with little success. She has a YouTube channel where she posts video essays, streams ranked matches in her hyperfixation game of the month, and uploads clips of her one-woman podcast where she rambles about various inane topics. She has about ten subscribers. Two of them are her grandma, because her original account was stolen by a crypto scammer. Bonnie isn't sure if the scammer just didn't bother to unsubscribe, or if they actually saw and liked her work.

Consider the moth. Much like the butterfly, it begins life as the humble caterpillar, an inherently ugly and disliked creature. As it grows, it assumes a new form, majestic and unbound by the lowly earth it was once forced to crawl upon. However, unlike the butterfly, the moth is seldom seen as a symbol of beauty. Clothes and jewellery aren't generally patterned after moths, people don't refer to others as 'social moths'. The moth - rather unjustifiably - is largely still considered ugly, is still considered undesirable.
That's very much Bonnie's story, really. Like many kids growing up, she was awkward, asocial, 'weird'. She didn't really have friends, and most people that showed her kindness were mostly doing it because it gave them more material to make fun of. Bonnie always knew that she was different, an outsider. There was something about her that was... aberrant, alien, other. However, she was fortunate enough to have a family that cared about her, parents open-minded enough to see that their child was hurting, that she needed help finding herself.
Like the moth, Bonnie underwent a miraculous transformation. She became something greater than her past self, something beautiful, unbound by limitations set upon her, something free.
And like the moth, most people didn't really appreciate the difference. They didn't really see anything less weird than the person that was there before. She can only hope that her last year at Panacea Academy - her first and only year at Silverbranch Court - will be different. Perhaps - unlike the humble moth - her transformation is not yet complete.
What more can a girl do but hope?

Energy and spoons comes and goes in waves, there will be times where I'll be able to bang out a couple posts a day and there will be times where it'll take me a couple weeks to get one out. I error on the side of low activity level when I have to give myself an assessment, since I'd rather people be pleasantly surprised than expect speed only to be let down.
