| Verity Valendeer's Plotter Persona & Background"I don’t need anyone to validate my existence. I’ve learned to stand on my own, even if it means standing alone."Getting along with this vixen is not for the faint of heart. Her heart is locked behind a gate with several locks and a dozen keys to try. She expects the worst from those she encounters, mostly because of the past that still haunts her. Dead parents, a creepy uncle, a mentally abusive aunt, and cousins who were relentless in their torment. She had no real friends, or at least none she felt she could fully trust. She did have a skating partner and a coach back in the States, but even then, she couldn’t bring herself to trust them completely. So, she left for Canada, hoping for a fresh start. But a new life can't begin until the chains around her heart are unlocked. Deep down inside, deep down, she longs to form connections with others. "Deep down, I crave companionship—someone to share laughter, secrets, and dreams with. FriendsIt is not difficult to become friendly with Verity, as she presents herself as open and nice. However, that doesn’t mean she sees you as a friend. It takes her a while to warm up to someone, and until then, she wears a mask—one that might go unnoticed even when she removes it, as it’s very close to her true self.
EnemiesWhile it is not impossible to move beyond being enemies with Verity, the deeper the dislike runs, the harder it is to climb out of that hole. This is due to her untrusting nature. However, it’s not as though she will go out of her way to cause you pain. Depending on the relationship, she might just avoid or completely ignore you.
LoversWhile finding a boyfriend isn’t her main focus during school, she is open to the possibility. In fact, she does want to find someone with whom she can share a deep, mutual love, even if it might not be easy to reach that point. Once she falls head over heels, though, that’s likely it for her—she’s all in. Her love language is touch, so when she does connect with someone, she expresses her affection through physical closeness, making small gestures that show her care and warmth.  Hello, Jordan! I would love to roleplay! ❤️ If you have any plot ideas yourself, feel free to share or add. But, what I formulated, after much thought, was perhaps a rainy day setting. Where it begins to unexpectedly rain and Brendon or Verity happen across the other when taking shelter. With it suddenly pouring out, and being chilly, it could create a setup where they end up interacting and kind of have that first meeting. Then we could come up with more ways for them to run into each other again for our next thread. Since they are both sophomore, and attended here for freshman year, they could also both have noticed each other. Like, have had classes together but have never officially interacted before. RHFDJKA So I say, but I'd like for these two to become friends! I was particularly eyeing the skating secrets plot hook, because Aoife is also.. a very good skater with a super foggy past. She very much seems like the kind of person who would sit on the throne of school society, but it's the sort of thing where she's kind of.. included with them in name only, or others are too intimidated to actually approach her. She transferred in this year from Korea, very socially weary, but it's easy enough to break the ice with her (heh) via shared hobbies! Lemme know what you think and they can mayhaps meet on the rink during figure skating?

Maybe we can use your plot idea with Verity's jar of stars to get these two started? Hi, Jordan! I'm excited to plot with you, and I absolutely love how Verity is a figure skater! Dance and figure skating go so well together, and I'm looking forward to how Astrofil may be able to help Verity continue to shine in her Dance classes, so that she can shine all the more as a figure skater!  Since he's her Dance teacher, anything you'd like to possibly explore with Verity and her growth as a skater, I'd be super interested in role playing out with Astrofil! He's a warm, and mature person who would be happy to answer any questions Verity may have about dance, and offer any demonstrations or additional coaching about areas Verity wants to either strengthen herself in or learn about. As a warm and maternal-natured person, Astrofil also wants to make sure his students aren't have any problems on campus, or feel at all overwhelmed or stressed about anything. I thought of a potential thread idea where Astrofil, as her teacher and a Housemaster on campus, helps Verity with a student who could be pestering her or comes to her aid if she ends up getting accidentally hurt while doing something. Astrofil Rosaura Thanks for replying to Verity's Plotter! So, a little bit about Verity and her reasoning for taking dance... is to take away anything to improve her chronograph for routines. So she won't be a strict to her lessons as others who are dancers. Pretty much just enough to get an 'A' in the class. We can def do something about another student bothering her. And she would happily help another student that got hurt, be she is not one to likely get hurt. She has had a lot of practice of know how to fall correctly and just keeping her body from harm. Because one injury can keep her off the ice for months. Or if there is anything else you want to do, let me know. |

Of course! Thank you for replying!! In a future dance class thread, we can definitely incorporate a couple exercises and games that would pertain to chronography! Music is something that he would like to use in class, and he would let students request different songs, too! That could be something we do sometime: Verity practicing poses and dance-timing to her choice of song! To start with our first thread, maybe we can go with astudent giving Verity a hard time for any reason of your choosing and having Astrofil step in, if that sounds good with you! ^-^ The location could be on campus, or even at the cafe that Verity currently works at for another possible option. If someone, at all, was giving her a hard time at the cafe I know that Astrofil would step in and wouldn't stand for anyone intentionally stirring any form of trouble for her. I'm extremely open and flexible on what would work best for you! ༻ ༺ |

Gonna preface this by saying I can absolutely see Kitt in two of your other plothooks, with the Library Lock-in and/or the Wishing Jar, although the latter might be harder since they're in different dorms. The one that really caught my eye is your kitten rescue plothook, though; since I really want Kitt to get a kitten, maybe they came across Verity while she was trying to figure out what to do. Their first suggestion would be to take it to the Regal Cat Cafe, but maybe they don't have room to accept a new kitten and Kitt ends up taking it home instead. If they got along through it, I can definitely see Kitt jokingly referring to her as the kitten's auntie, and update her with pictures/stories/visits whenever they see each other around campus.
I know you're also closed for new threads right now, so no rush to reply or anything--I just wanted to throw this idea out there for whenever you have room on your plate again. ^^
